Went to Ozuri Izakaya for a year-end gathering and it was a great spot for drinks and food. Everything we ordered came out really well and tasted great. The sashimi was super fresh, and the yakitori skewers were well-seasoned but not too salty, so they paired perfectly with drinks.
The Nagasaki jjampong was smoky, spicy, and in deep seafood flavor. Also loved the tamagoyaki which was unique with bean sprouts and pork inside, giving it a nice crunch.
Overall, a solid izakaya with great food and a relaxed vibe. Would definitely go back!

Wow — this is the best Japanese restaurant we’ve been to in a long time. We were craving something truly authentic, so we drove from Charlotte to Atlanta for some much‑needed Japanese comfort food, and Ozuri Izakaya absolutely delivered. From sashimi and yakitori to grilled fish and unagi don, we tried a little bit of everything and loved it all. The space is spacious and beautifully designed — it genuinely feels like you’ve stepped into Japan. A must‑visit for anyone craving an authentic Japanese experience.

We checked out Ozuri Izakaya for their grand opening special, and it was such a great experience. For $89, you get a preselected course that’s honestly a perfect way to sample their menu. It came with edamame, jellyfish salad, a few tasty Japanese sides, sashimi, salad, miso cod, and grilled meat skewers — everything was beautifully presented and full of flavor.
We chose the smaller portion for two, which was just right for a date night, but I’m already planning to come back with friends to try more dishes and drinks. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. Definitely a spot worth adding to your Buckhead dining list.

this is now by far my second favorite sashimi plave ti go to!!! everything was just fresh delicious and incredible the fresh bingsu was too good! theres not much to say cause everything was fresh attentive sweet well done presented well honestly incredible! i’ve never had such amazing sashimi

I have been here twice now, and both times the experience was consistently excellent. The sushi is incredibly fresh and flavorful. Really enjoyed it. We ordered the second largest set menu and enjoyed the variety quite a bit. Didn’t take pics of everything there was teppanyaki an octopus pancake and some fried chicken and a odeng soup.
