Crème is one of my all-time favorite spots for amazing baked goods and pastries. The moment you walk in, the place feels warm and welcoming, with a cozy ambiance that makes you want to stay awhile. The staff are always kind, helpful, and quick to serve, so even if there’s a line, it moves fast. I’ve been visiting for years, and the quality has never changed—it’s consistently fantastic.

Their ham and cheese croissant is my go-to breakfast treat, perfectly flaky with just the right balance of savory flavor. The muffins and cookies are also incredible, each one soft, fresh, and full of that homemade goodness. One of their hidden gems is the baguette filled with Italian sausage and cheese—it’s absolutely delicious! The crust is crisp, the inside is flavorful, and those little pickles tucked inside give it the perfect tangy bite.

This bakery is also great for takeout lunch or a casual picnic. Pair that sausage baguette and a chocolate chip cookie with a cold beer, and you’ve got the perfect afternoon meal. I recently enjoyed that combo with a Claremont Craft Ales “Baldy” during the Village Venture, and it was a match made in heaven.

Crème truly captures the charm of a neighborhood bakery. Everything they make tastes fresh, thoughtful, and full of love. Just a quick tip—make sure to grab your favorites on Saturday since they’re closed on Sunday. This place never disappoints and will always have a special spot on my list of local favorites!

Would you like me to make a shorter Google-style version (3–4 lines) from this one too?

There’s something quietly charming about living in this part of town. I usually shy away from crowded places, but this little shop is my one gentle exception. If there’s a line, let it be an invitation to slow down—bring a book, take a breath, settle into the wait. It can get cozy inside, so a moment to center yourself before entering goes a long way. You’ll often catch an international murmur in the air, which feels just right for a college town. I usually order a chocolate croissant with a small black coffee—simple and grounding. My day really begins when I step back outside, easing the door closed behind me. I hope you’ll carry a little of that quietness with you, too, and help keep this space as peaceful as you found it.

The drip coffee is well made. Beautiful displays. Some local artisan items for sale also. Plants thrive due to the skylight which makes for an even nicer atmosphere. The almond apricot brioche toast is my favorite. Sometimes there is a line but it moves quickly because they work as a team behind the counter.

THE BEST bakery! All of their baked goods are delicious! The best almond croissant ever! I live two hours away and make it a point to stop by when I’m in town. Highly recommend!

This is a quaint and cozy bakery. All the baked goods look beautiful. When you walk in you feel like you are walking into a little shop in Europe. Unfortunately the blueberry muffin and coffee I ordered were disappointing. The muffin tasted more sweet than flavorful, and the drip coffee tasted like diner coffee. While waiting in line, the person in front of me, ordered a pastry based on the sign in front of it. The server corrected them saying it was a different pastry. I noticed the sign was placed slightly out of alignment with the correct pastry. When I pointed this out, I was told it was correct. They weren’t interested in investigating the issue. Other than that the service was good. I probably wouldn’t return on my own, but if a friend wanted to go there, I would be willing to give it another try.

So far as I know the best Boulangerie Française you can find in SoCal Inland Empire.
The owner lady speaks French. I didn’t engage any conversation, just ordered in French because all items are marked in French.

Sandwich Jambon beurre, it tastes the same as in France. 10/10
Pain aux Raisins, not that good, too much crunchy and oil , it should be a little crunchy outside and very tender inside. 4/10
pain au chocolat , maybe a little less butter , almost the same as in France 8/10
Croissant almond , flat it please then it will be 10/10/, 9/10.
Tarte chocolat , same as in France, except too sweet , -40% sugar will be perfect. 8/10

I usually come here for their sandwiches and chocolate chip cookies. They do sell out quickly on their sandwiches, my favorite is the brie with thick slices of butter on their baguette.

Their chocolate chips which have crispy, buttery edges are great too. Crispy on the edges and chewy on the inside, it’s on the thinner side as well.

The staff is nice and the place is clean, seating is limited though.

Crème is one of the best things about Claremont—if you know, you know!

My friends and family love this bakery, and we’ve always raved about their freshly baked bread and amazing customer service. I’ll continue to order every single cake from them without hesitating. Just wish they had more small cut pieces of cake as an option when there is no special occasion, I still crave their cake…

Given their great reputation, it’s no surprise how wonderful they are! I wanted to share my experience while still celebrating everything that makes Crème such a special part of Claremont!
