A really good surprise at the runaway bay marina. The food was excellent. I’m normally a pizza person, the pizza was great but the pasta was exceptional. The serving sizes were great. Definitely left feeling full and satisfied Another great Italian restaurant on the gold coast. Well worth a visit for the exceptional tasting food .

Tonight we had the pleasure of dining at Portofino Restaurant in Runaway Bay and it was a truly exceptional experience. Maria, the owner, and her team provided outstanding service, making us feel welcome and at home.
The food was exquisite, with authentic Italian flavors and generous portions. We were thoroughly impressed by the quality and presentation of each dish.
The value for money was also excellent.

We were made to feel so welcome with such wonderful friendly service throughout the night. Both our meals were very plentiful & so very tasteful. We chose the veal meal which was so tender & the prawn dish, both came with the most delicious sauces.
Finishing off with Tiramisu & Gelato desserts which also were great.
It was so special & a lovely touch to have the chef come out to talk with us & check on how we felt about our meals.
Topping it all off was the fabulous music from the great musician Joe.
Thank you all ! Such a great team!

Stunning restaurant! Friendly staff the moment you walk in. No matter the reason, catching up with friends or family or a romantic date night Portofino – Italian Restaurant delivers.
We were visiting family for a few days from Melbourne and wanted a lovely restaurant experience that would also cater to very severe food anaphylaxis. Before booking we did a lot of research for restaurants in the Gold Coast that would cater and there are not too many. Portofino – Italian Restaurant not only catered, but delivered beyond expectations. We order pizza regularly but our teen is lucky to eat 2 slices. Last night she ate almost an entire large pizza. She loved it! Beautiful flavour and not an allergen insight. If we could get this sent to us in Melbourne we would order for sure.
If you are struggling to find somewhere to eat with an EGG or TREE NUT allergy head HERE!!

Omg I dare say this is the best restaurant ive ever been to. I dont ever make reviews so everyone listen up. I Went here for valentines day and it’s one thing for the food to be amazing, because anyone can make food, but the atmosphere and vibes at this restaurant is something that is so rare to see. We had the pleasure of having Raff De singing for us and i cannot even out into words how joyful it was to have everyone getting up and dancing for the music and sinply enjoying a beautiful evening out. I definitely recommend
