Oh. My. Stars. I honestly don’t know where to begin…..
The back of the restaurant smelled like a septic tank because someone all but blew one of the bathrooms up and didn’t spray the Febreeze that’s readily available.
We ordered the “loaded” fries at an appetizer. They consisted of a pile of fries with melted cheddar, a little bacon and pieces of chopped white onion.
My husband ordered the catfish and I asked for chicken fried steak. Well, the catfish was almost raw and my small piece of premade “chicken fried steak” was nasty and had no gravy on it. It tasted almost like a soybean patty. Our side salads were pretty much the only good food in the whole order. Our daughter didn’t even eat her cheeseburger.
The other plus to the whole visit was the waitress was extremely apologetic and seemed sincere. She was very sweet from the beginning.

Celina isnt quite the dining mecca we all wished for… but Doris’ helps medicate that situation. Made to order…. specials daily .. even a buffet on Sundays until 2. Most gas stations aren’t open on Sunday around here!
Thank you Doris’ for providing consistent diner fare in a clean setting with friendly staff!

The chili tasted like Hormel, the grilled cheese had an odd taste on one half; I had to spit it out. Others (appeared to be locals) came in after I did and were waited on and served before I was. I was disappointed, I assumed because there was a chili cook off in town, I’d be getting something better than canned chili. I went to the cashier, she was adding it all up, told me the price, $8.49, I gave her the $10 and said keep the change. She finally looked at me and said thank you. I thanked her. They weren’t rude, just inattentive. There were two waitresses and they worked well together. The small dinner was half full.

This was a great place for breakfast. It was the cheapest breakfast I’ve had in a long time. Food was fast/fresh. Bisquit wasn’t hard. Service was awesome!

A great place, off the beaten path. Yummy food for a good price.

The food was good, just not great. They advertise a buffet but, where I come from, a buffet is all you can eat. Theirs is one trip, small portions.
The restaurant is clean and neat with decent server attendance. I personally would not choose to return here. Sorry!

Great country breakfast. It’s been a long time since I have had REAL country ham. They have it and it is good. The service is excellent and the people are so friendly. They even gave us free samples of stuff to try. I wish we had a place like this in my town. The biscuits were definitely homemade and I loved them.

Great place for breakfast. Service was good and waitress was excellent! I had platter 1, biscuit, sausage gravy, two eggs, crispy hash browns, and sausage patties. The food was tasty , and loved the biscuits. The waitress also had me try chocolate gravy with a biscuit (since I was not familiar with). It was pretty good with the biscuit.
