I love everything about this place! The atmosphere, the menu selection, the staff! I’ve been a couple times now, and I’ve enjoyed every sandwich I tried (the French dip was a stand-out). Their chai latte is probably the best I’ve ever had. They stock locally-baked and in-house baked goods (their cake slices are amazing). All the staff I’ve interacted with have been friendly and helpful. I’m very impressed by this place.

I took my grandma here for lunch with my 2 toddlers. I ordered the kids a ham sandwich to split…a single piece of ham folded was on the sandwhich a that’s it. Plus the stale hard bred. When I ordered I asked if cheese came on it, the cashier said $2 to add a slice of cheese on the $8 kids menu ham sandwhich….then the manager could not have cared less. Unreal experience, especially paying $55 for lunch. I’ll go to the Well from now on or get an Açaí bowl or one of the other local shops that treat kids and parents with respect and actually value their customers.

If you’re in Lancaster and haven’t been to Provisions Bakery & Deli yet, you’re seriously missing out! As a chiropractor at Copious Chiropractic, I’m always on the lookout for great local spots that serve up fresh, high-quality food—and Provisions delivers every time.

Their sandwiches are stacked with premium meats and fresh ingredients, making it an easy go-to for a balanced, protein-packed meal. And don’t even get me started on their fresh-baked cookies—it takes every bite to the next level. Whether you’re craving a hearty deli sandwich or just want to grab a coffee and a pastry, they’ve got something for everyone.

Best part? It’s just a short walk from our office, making it a perfect stop before or after an adjustment. Highly recommend checking them out!

Wife and I stopped for breakfast at Provisions for the first time.

The interior is well done with high ceilings, nice natural lighting, and a pleasant vibe.

Staff was friendly and helpful. I got a breakfast burrito and my wife had a bagel sandwich. We split a berry smoothie.

All was very good ! My wife asked if we could go back again tomorrow, so I’d say it was worth the trip.

If you are in the area, give this location a shot !

Edit – 03.02.25

Wife and I came back again today for baked goods, coffee, and breakfast again. Our first visit wasn’t a fluke, great again today!

Provisions Bakery & Deli in Historic Downtown Lancaster is always a must stop. Anyone knows that if you plan a lunch meeting with me, I will suggest Provisions. It’s just such a cool place and they have a little bit of EVERYTHING. An amazing chicken salad melt (my go to), delicious baked goods, Conn’s Potato Chips, and any drink you can imagine. Little known gem – Provisions has coffee and breakfast. They’re breakfast sandwiches are TOP TIER. If you find yourself in Lancaster for breakfast or lunch, Provisions is a required visit.

Excellent food for the value. They do have Glutten free options such as bread and desserts!

When asked about specific allergies, the staff was quick to find out the answer as they didn’t know offhand.

The atmosphere is great and the decor works well.

Great place to stop for lunch. I look forward to trying breakfast sometime!

We stopped in at lunchtime. It was our first time visiting. We each had a bowl of a delicious soup of the day, a baked potato & kielbasa. Very tasty and hearty.

My wife ordered an iced chai latte. I was amazed how quickly she finished the drink…she told me…”look at all the ice.” Ice cubes filled 2/3 of the 20 oz cup, not leaving a lot of room for the best part – the drink itself. 5/10 on that drink because of the excess amount of ice cubes. Definitely not a good value for the money.

I ordered my go-to drink, a hot Americano. Many things I loved about the drink including the cup itself, which had a ribbed texture finish, a “stopper” inserted into the sip hole to keep the drink hot and prevent spilling, and to top it off – literally – was whipped cream on top. That was a pleasant surprise – I’ve never had that in an Americano. 10/10 on that drink.

The atmosphere brings you back to a bygone era…loved that! The only downside…a huge jar next to the cash register of old babydoll heads. Very strange & bizarre.

Customer service at the cash register was super friendly, welcoming & polite.

Provisions is a promising new bakery & deli in downtown Lancaster. A great place to start the day or refuel for the afternoon. With great service, food, and a fantastic interior, Provisions has a lot to offer. The baked goods are delicious and the sandwiches are very solid. Sadly, the coffee isn’t that great, and with dozens of options popping up in the Lancaster area I’d have to say I was hoping for more.

Good food. Little pricey for proportion, but tasty. They have a large amount of pastries and baked goods along with wine and a lunch menu. It’s located in a old hardware store that has been refurbished and is absolutely stunning.

Combination coffee house and deli, Provisions does not disappoint. You are greeted with a very large open space with big windows letting a lot of light in. Even with the black and white theme, the place is very light and a reasonable amount of seating. A wall of wine to your left as you come in, merch and beers along the right, ordering and some items you can just pickup in front of you, and the coffee bar with a decent selection of baked goods wraps around the food prep area. Seating is varied with some higher seats along a bar along the right-hand wall.

We enjoyed our standard espresso and cappuccino respectively and grabbed a delicious pecan roll to go with it. I would say the only downside is that the heating was a little overdone in the microwave (I almost would have had it cold), but otherwise delicious. even though most of the tables were full, there was enough of a turn-over that we were able to grab a seat and sit and enjoy ourselves. I noted that some of the patrons took full advantage of the liquor license and were having fresh mimosas.

If you are passing through the area, this is a place to stop (at least for breakfast).
