When I arrived and saw the menu, I was worried about the prices .. but oh my the portions were generous. The food was delicious. And the service was lovely. Now if only they can recover the old pie recipes they used to be so famous for they will be laughing… Like country cousins.

Great restaurant. The service was excellent — we never felt ignored and the staff were very attentive. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. We had the pancakes and the steak and eggs, and both were really good. Definitely a spot worth stopping at.

Fantastic little gem. Loved to food. I had a pizza and was probably the best I have ever had. The server and possibly the owner was amazing and super friendly. We also had the peanut butter pie which was delicious. We will definitely be coming back

Wish I could give negative zero. I requested a steak sandwich. Should be simple 6oz steak with garlic toast. What I got looked like a burger. Steak on a hamburger bun with tomato, lettuce and pickles. Seriously….and no garlic toast. The “cook” told me he made exactly what we asked for. Maybe they need someone who know how to do their job. Truly disappointed. It was terrible

Really enjoyed the selection for lunch. I was working in Linden for a few days and stopped in twice for lunch here. The first day I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The bread was fresh and the sandwich was loaded with pulled pork and coleslaw, I had it with a side of portion of poutine. The poutine had a mild gravy loaded with cheese. On the following day I ordered the brisket . The meat was incredibly tender and the bun tasted incredibly fresh. While I was in the restaurant for my second lunch I discovered that they offered made in house pies. I ordered a peach pie for a treat when I got home. The pie was really nice, very homely I will definitely be stopping in for lunch and another pie whe I’m in the area next. I highly suggest if you’re in linden to stop here for lunch.

Cute little restaurant with homestead type food and flavor …got the beef dip which was decent definitely wish it was pink instead of well done but none the less was still decent…wife had vegetarian lasagna and she loved it …huge portions…our server was very nice her name is Sydney…would stop by again if in the area !

I haven’t been here in years and the last time it wasn’t as good as the hype. This time around, it was excellent! Food was generous and tasted great, service was great and it was well worth the money. I’ll be back for sure. No wonder they’re so busy.
