We are used to Osaka in Roseville and we love it and wanted to take our kids to hibachi experience. It was a busy night for hibachi but we were told we can still order hibachi at the table. We were grateful that they got us in. It took about an hour to order. Our soup and salad did not come at the start, but our main meal came another hour later. Everything on the item on the plate was very cold and did not taste well. When I told the waitress that the food was super cold she said, I’m sorry that was my fault. But there was nothing to rectify the situation. Our drinks did not come and we reminded her at this point. She apologized and again forgot to bring our drinks for another 25 minutes. Our salad and soups arrived as we’re eating our main meal because she said they ran out of soup and salad and had to make new ones. When I asked if there’s gonna be any adjustment to our bill as this is not what we expected she said she’ll take 10% off. Our alcohol beverage came at the end of the meal. We tried to still enjoy our night but the drink was awful. I asked the waitress to take off the alcoholic beverages. We did not even drink it, but she said I was I’ll give you 15% of the whole bill.. My kids and I ate at best maybe 25% of the food and got the check and left. When I took a second look at the bill at home they only took 15% off from the drinks and one of the lowest meal cost item and they included gratitude in the bill. I was expecting it from the total and not from few items. Extremely dishonest process. I paid over $200 for the worst service and food experience of my life. I hope that if they could not accommodate us from the start they would have let us know so our family night would not have been ruined and I would saved my money.

I want to start by saying the service was warm and kind. Our waitress was working on her first day and was being trained, and she truly did her best. I appreciated her effort and the patience shown by her trainer.
However, the food itself was disappointing. We ordered the Bourbon Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, and the Spicy Crab Roll. The Bourbon Chicken did not come out as pictured, and the sauce for it was actually placed on the General Tso’s Chicken. The waitress understandably didn’t know the difference yet, but her trainer did mention that the dish wasn’t correct. What we received looked more like plain fried chicken placed over raw cabbage. The vegetables were undercooked, especially the broccoli, which was barely steamed.
The sauces that the trainer brought out for us tasted good, but one of them was extremely cold — clearly taken straight from the refrigerator — which affected the overall experience.
The atmosphere of a restaurant matters too, and while the interior itself was beautiful, the first thing you notice when you walk in is an empty, half-full fish tank. It takes away from the otherwise nice presentation. It would help to either remove the tank entirely or restock it, because the space deserves a consistent standard of excellence.
I hesitated to write this review because the service was genuinely kind, but the food and presentation didn’t meet expectations. I hope this feedback helps, because the restaurant has potential with some adjustments.

We placed a simple $80 order. Received no sauce on our Sweet Potato Rolls, receipt indicates sauce. Tobiko was served in little cups. Sad!! Usually such a great place to order our sushi!

Visited on New Year’s Eve and had a wonderful experience with the staff — the service was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was a bit disappointing this visit. Several dishes tasted bland and seemed less fresh than expected. I’ve been to the Roseville and Woodbury Osaka locations and always enjoyed great meals there, so I was surprised by the difference in quality. I hope this location can improve, because the atmosphere and service were great.

I would highly recommend not comming here. I came here with another person and the waiter that served us definitely seemed out of sorts like he was there but not. There was long pauses when he talked to us. He ended up bringing us two soups that we did not ask for and the food that we did order was very bland. The breaded chicken dish that I had gotten was like deli meat sliced chicken with a bunch of breading. We ended up spending an hour and a half here because our waiter would forget to bring the bill. I don’t think I will ever be coming back here.

Halfway through the meal my husband found a bug in the food. The waitress said she was surprised we saw it and she would have eaten it. We were obviously disgusted and couldn’t eat anything else. They only took one sushi roll off the bill. I would have expected a manager to address us and comp it since our meal was ruined. Awful response to the situation. Completely unacceptable.

My wife’s hot green tea was salty and tasted like chicken broth with lemon. Experience went down from there. Chef was pleasant and practiced, but I understand why I saw seven guests in the whole restaurant on a Friday at 7pm. I think I scared the server because she never came to ask if I wanted a second drink. Appetizer sushi roll I ordered/reordered arrived after the meal. I’m looking for something good to say… easy parking-fast seating. I got nothing else.
