Cruised into Doylestown today with a friend to pick up some brunch and some records at Siren records. We decided to stop into Genevieve’s and we were pleasantly impressed. The atmosphere is rustic and decorated with ornate antiques and paintings which my friend and I appreciated. The waitress was very friendly and the view of the bustling street out front was fun to watch the passerby’s. We ordered the special which was an omelette with bacon, cheddar cheese, and mushrooms. It came with robust house potatoes and fresh fruit. We were really pleased with the food and the chef/owner came out to greet us to ask about our experience, which always feels good. What a great brunch! If you’re in Doylestown and looking to try a new restaurant, I recommend Genevieve’s. Cheers

All I can say is, WOW!, this place just gets better and better every time we go. Enjoyed an amazing red fish Cioppino and apple mascarpone cannoli for dinner tonight. Gail worked her magic taking care of the tables while Joey took the time out of the kitchen to greet guests. THIS is Doylestown’s best restaurant!

What an amazing experience! Restaurant is located in what seemed like a historical building. We came in and were seated right away, decided to sit outside in the back. Very cozy atmosphere! As far as food goes – you have to try their lobster corn chowder – the bowl is very large and it’s the best chowder I have tried! Over all we loved everything we ate!

Joey the chef and owner was very accommodating to all requests, my family suggested the place and we mobbed the back room, very private and very cute. The food portions were bigger than expected. For the price I thought the crab cake dinner would be one cake, but out comes two massive cakes, more than enough to take home for a second round snack. Down to earth professionals that have heart! Love to see it – and when we come back we will be there again. Highly suggested for anyone locally for a date night or anyone visiting like we were; a for sure spot to visit. Now note: it’s BYOB, but they allow you to bring your own alcohol, meaning our in laws brought a case of beer and 6 bottles of wine for our party of 9, (great in-laws) I didn’t know this was possible being from south Florida where there is a crap ton of rules, no corkage fees and you can bring beers in, which is a big no no. I was reveling in the fact it’s like visiting a good friend’s home, that was also a chef, was preparing you dinner for you with love, and was very cool. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and Italian themed food here. Had never been before, but was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Menu was well coordinated and pricing was moderate for the level of charm. Was blown away by the buffalo shrimp appetizer. Brunch menu looked interesting, but have not had the chance to experience yet.

A gem! Outstanding menu, very vegetarian friendly. Incredibly kind and gentle people behind this establishment. Quality of food was superb, originality of dishes exceptional. Loved the holiday decor and music that was not overwhelming but added to the ambiance. We will go out of our way to return soon!!

Wonderful experience. Sat in window seat and watched foot traffic in Doyelstown across from the movie theater…a nostalgic step back in time. Appetizers were excellent; entree of crab cakes were good, not as scintillating as the appetizers. Waitress attentive. BYOB !
Very enjoyable experience.

Absolutely amazing—cooked to perfection with that homemade touch you just can’t beat. Every bite was flavorful and fresh, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place needs to be on your list. Highly recommend!

Very cute place. We visited while on vacation from Florida on Thanksgiving Day and were very fortunate to get reservations just a few days before. Other local restaurants that were booked recommended them. Food was excellent. Short rib meal, stuffed mushrooms, grilled shrimp were generous and tasty. The staff was also very friendly. Contemplating this trip and restaurant a yearly tradition.
