I’ve ordered from here a few times but today was probably the last time. I had to pick broccoli from my Pepper Steak. I’ve eaten Pepper Steak at several different places around the US and this was a first. Pepper Steak should be Steak cooked with bell peppers and onions. I’m not a fan of broccoli and don’t want it in Pepper Steak.

I drove there and I ordered chicken fried rice, I get back home and find out I got white rice and. I chicken! I went back and they tried to give me the chicken fried rice that’s been sitting there for 20 minutes! She knew I was coming back obviously. I said I would like a fresh one please, she said ok and rushed to cook my food which took less then 2 minutes! I got back home and opened the container and the chicken was still pink uncooked. I had to drive back and return that as well! They were laughing and being disrespectful by talking their language. I got money back but I’ll never go there again. And this wasn’t the first issue. Had other issues in the past. There is another Chinese place around the corner by Publix! Better reviews.

I miss living near Downtown Orlando for all the Asian restaurants. This side of Clermont is still growing and after trying a few other places here China Gourmet is my go to whenever the cravings hit!
The flavor is legit and the food always leaves me fulfilled. I’ve even tried platters I don’t usually get and it was great as well, lol.

Its our first time ordering food from this place and one of the order was the general tsos chicken. It tastes good but it has more batter than chicken. Hardly any chicken inside. It was hard too.
Update: I called the place back and they were kind enough to offer me another order of food.

Me and the wife ordered the beef and brocolli (small) and the shrimp fried rice and fried wings with ragoons. The ragoons was duh-mazing and the sauce complimented it well. The beef n brocolli was the best I ever had (ate a lot of it) but was great for the price. The wings and rice was great as well. Overall great customer service , clean restaurant, and portions match the prices.

I ordered my simple usual dish on a Friday nigh and the wait was approximately 25 minutes for takeout. It was quite packed so I waited outside. The food was quite good but the portion size could have been larger. The fried rice was authentic and flavorful and the chicken and broccoli was incredibly tender. For Chinese fast food, I would recommend this place.

Had opportunity for takeout from China Gourmet during a recent vacation to Florida. The dinner consisted of General Tso’s Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Both dishes were absolutely superb. All ingredients used were fresh and prepared perfectly. China Gourmet’s take on these dishes are among the BEST that we have ever had. Treat yourself and have the fried rice – it goes above and beyond your average fried rice. We were so happy with this experience that we will very likely be having them again when we return in the fall. Thank you, China Gourmet, for a splendid meal. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
