Very loud due to sports but nice. Food is pricey but huge portions. My Aunt loved the Saurkraut balls and they were huge. She also enjoyed her steak dinner special. The Appetizer sampler was also very good and a large amount. I had a caprese pizza it was OK a bit bland could have used a good sauce. There was only one server and she was hustling the entire time it was very busy on a Thursday night.

A great little getaway for the day Bar and restaurant very good food nice cold beers our bartender was very sweet. The atmosphere is inviting, the only thing I would say is they need new barstools at the bar I felt like they were a little rickety but overall decorated for Christmas and all the holidays. It’s a very cute place !

Stopped in for a break on the way home. Food is locally sourced. Prices are great. Service is on par. Atmosphere gets loud but it was fun to watch everyone enjoying the company they’re with. Good place. Have revisited a few times since the first time when passing thru.

Best bar/restaurant around hands down. I came down with a group of 7 on Thursday and we were pleasantly surprised as it was steak night. Definitely worth the money for steak dinner and the Hillside rivals traditional steak house that charges twice the price. The lobster bisque was phenomenal and think I’m heading back just for that soon. I can’t get over how good the quality of the food. In my opinion there is no close second in terms of quality and service of restaurant/ taverns around ( maybe kind of close second wolf creek tavern lol they are amazing too). Our server Jessica (whom was very personable and attentive) sold us on white French dressing that’s house made. Best French dressing ever had. I also ordered the crab egg roll and have to say it was the best egg roll I ever had. As for the drinks well sold in tall pint glasses. No small glasses here and never had to wait for a refill as Jessica is attentive to her customers. If you live close by the Hartville or Kent area the Hillside is a must to check out you will not be disappointed. I awesome to go to place that is causal that you can come as you are and treated well with quality food and tall drinks!

Wow . Randomly found on the bike. I’m certain there is “Black Magic” at work in the kitchen! Special, 10 Wings, Basket of Fries, Tall Brew, under $20!!! Those wings & fries are mind-blowing amazing! Someone made a deal with the devil! The bartender Megan, actually teased me that that was a special. I hadn’t even ordered anything off the normal menu, I can’t wait! How am I today years old, 30 miles away and didn’t know about this place? If you haven’t been there, get there, DO THAT RIGHT NOW!

A group of us went for Wednesday night karaoke. It was our first visit. The food is superb for bar food. They source their beef from Dumas and Presslers, we were told by a regular patron. You could definitely tell by the taste of the burgers. We had a great time inside the bar and out on the patio. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be back!
