I went to this Popeyes to grab a late lunch. I went through the drive thru and purchased the Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
The service was prompt and friendly. The only constructive criticism I could offer is when I order and say I want the sandwich only, that means I don’t want the meal. I’m also not a fan of being asked for donations when I’m stopping at a fast food joint, but maybe that’s just me.
My sandwich was good, although it was probably the thinnest version of this sandwich I’ve had at any Popeyes location.
Overall, I was satisfied with my decision to stop here.
I entered via route 1 and from the, I was able to pull right into the drive thru lane. That was cool.

It seems that on Sundays, they partially run out of food. on one Sunday, they were out of fries and buns for sandwiches. yesterday, they were out of tenders. Kinda crazy for a Sunday night.
When they have the food though, it’s usually pretty solid. Service is unremarkable, with drive thru times sometimes taking a while. Some of the staff have a thick accent, which can cause issues while ordering.

We had the worst experience at this disgusting establishment. The chicken tenders were tiny, like chicken nuggets. A 5 peice barely covered the bottom of the box. Our two large sodas were completely flat. The beans and rice were way over seasoned. And the bill was 34$ for this terrible experience. Please save yourself the trouble of visiting popeyes Groton ct

I’m not sure how hard it is to receive the correct order but it seems impossible with this location. Twice in the past 2 days I have ordered spicy tenders and made them repeat it to me twice to make sure it was spicy and they said it was. Only to leave and it be regular both times. They know what they are doing and being lazy. It’s so annoying and ridiculous.

This location used to be able to be counted on as good. As of late, horrible. The terrible response to mobile orders and the overall management of the kitchen and counter areas is horrible. I’ve put in a mobile order arrived a little past the time it was supposed to be ready and not even started. And then told i had to take spicy chicken in the place of the mild I had actually ordered. Total incompetency. The place needs new management and new workers.

This is the worst Popeyes I ever been to for the past 10 years, let’s start talking. I ordered the 5 pieces combo and it comes with two sides(I chose mash potatoes and fries), I also ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. I made the order on the mobile app, before I go drive thru to pick it up. Here is all the problems:
1) when I got there and pick up the food, I asked for some buttermilk sauce for the 5 pieces, when I go back and check on the sauce, the person gave me ONE sauce for 5 pieces chicken….
2)then when I check on the food, there is NO spicy chicken sandwich….. I have to drive all the way back for it and they didn’t even apologize. They didn’t even check my receipt or anything, they just gave that to me after I explain to them. I guess they always mess up their orders…
3) the 5 pieces comes with regular side of fries, and I got 16 fries, they are not even filled up the bag for the fries, this is like a kids meal side, see picture for reference.
Last minor thing was they didn’t even give me a spoon for the ‘mash potatoes
Very disappointed in this. I know it is fairly new store but don’t open the store without more training. Everyone please check your orders before leaving the drive through, u hate to drive back twice to get one order.

Idk but I feel like my food was not fully cooked cause after eating the food me and my wife were sick . So who ever is cooking there needs a refresher course on cooking or not cook at all u could make someone horribly sick. I mean my wife had to leave work early cause she was throwing up and shit. Bad place don’t recommend it if they can’t even properly cook there chicken right.

I only order here now because my kids ask to. I’ve given 6 chances in regards to ordering. Each and every order has been wrong, or missing something. It does not matter if its delivered, drive thru, or ordering in person.

Missing biscuits! Ordered a family meal and asked specifically if it came with biscuits and was told it did. Got home to find no biscuits. I take fault for not checking before I left. However, this is the most basic part of their job; make sure the order is correct. Do employees care that little about their job? Why is there not a supervisor checking? I didn’t request anything difficult. After getting home, my wife called the store and told them they forgot the biscuits. They questioned her and claimed they should have been there. She went and got them, an eight count. However, we found only six biscuits in the box. Again, our fault for not checking. But why can’t they get it right? Do the employees and supervisors care that little to ensure people get what they ordered and paid for?

Had a good experience here; they were upfront with me about the wait time and I didn’t mind waiting as I wasn’t in a rush. The chicken was fried fresh and hot, great tasting chicken.
A lot of reviews on here complain about the “service” but I didn’t experience any issues.
My only knock would be the parking lot, it’s a little wonky to navigate but it’s not a huge issue.
