I was looking to adopt a second cat, but I wanted to see how they interacted with others — so a cat cafe was perfect! I ended up adopting two (oops!), but that was in part because my experience as Scruffy’s was awesome. The kitties have lots of space and toys, plus plenty of couches for nap time. The beverages were a great addition to my visit. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, this is a great place for when you are having a rough day and really just need some wonderful, playful, and loving cats to spend time with.

The cutest cafe!! My husband and I dropped by while on vacation just to see some cats while we are away from ours. They are all so sweet and I wish I could adopt every single one of them. The staff is really nice too and the price was cheap compared to others. I wish we had been able to stay longer because I love this place so much!!!

This experience was wonderful! I brought my senior living residents to come and visit with the cats and the staff was so welcoming! Everyone was friendly and polite and the cats were all very well behaved and sweet

Came to scruffys for the first time, and will def be back! The owner/staff were all so so nice and enjoyable. The food was great. And all the cats were the sweetest. Nothing but paw-sitive things to say. My husband and I also got a shirt!

We had a great time! The staff was kind and very helpful. They have some really cute seasonal drinks available! The cats had lots of space and toys. It was a great experience and we will definitely be coming back 🙂

Talk about a cat lovers heaven ! If you haven’t been here, you should definitely go!! This woman and her helpers running this place are just precious, kind and friendly! Love going to pet and love on the kitties. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Have had my kid’s birthday there two years in a row. I don’t need to decorate or set up. Just show up and bring cupcakes.

My experience was so great! These kitties are all very well taken care of and they’re all up for adoption. You can get a bite to eat and drink and hang out with these cute kitties by the hour. There is plenty of room to sit and chill, have some fun playing with kitties, and getting some much needed kitty time in if you’re away from home. The staff is very friendly and you can just tell that they love what they do. Very much recommend!

I love this place! I was so excited when I learned Knoxville had a cat cafe and I have loved every experience here. The staff are SO friendly and welcoming. The drinks are amazing. And of course cats! Such a wonderful place to spend time in if you’re a lover of kitties.

For $10 a person this was not worth it. The whole experience was awkward and uncomfortable. I’m familiar with cats and know there requires certain upkeep to mitigate smell. The whole place stank of cat pee. Cats seemed reclusive and depressed, hiding and not reacting when interacted with. Cushioned furniture and pillows seems to be an odd choice for a cat cafe considering fur, pee, and spray contamination would make it much harder to clean. The volunteers were taking up seating areas leaving awkward chairs to sit in. The place seemed small with an odd layout.
It really felt extremely uncomfortable, as there was nowhere to sit, and we definitely did not feel comfortable sitting on the dirty cushions. I do think the owner has good intentions, but as other reviews say this absolutely is not executed well.
