Let me tell you!! This place is SOOO GOOD! I would rave about it all day if I could. I went in today after hearing they switched to avocado oil and beef tallow to fry/prepare food. I should have been here yesterday! I don’t know if I was super hungry or what because I couldn’t get enough lol The flavor was amazing! I ordered Birria meat and a Mocajete 10/10 in my book. Oh also, they have HANDMADE TORTILLAS!! I switched from canola oil and sunflower oil a couple months ago so this spot is truly a blessing for me. I get to enjoy authentic Mexican food but better! I definitely will be back again with my family. Also the waitress was super helpful and kind answering all my questions!

My Nina had her birthday dinner here. The food and drinks are soo good! The shrimp is very fresh & they add shrimp on your Michelada for only $5 more. Such a hidden gem! Rice and beans also taste good

I went here with a group of friends, we absolutely loved it, an absolute gem of Long beach, some of my friends were vegetarian and some ate meat or fish, all of us left there feeling very happy with our meals and we all ended up coming back!
Our first time we got chips and guacamole, Horchata and a Michelada to start.
I got a two sauce wet burrito, and my friends got different fish tacos.
When we returned it was a little earlier in the day and I got the Huevos con Nopales, served with fresh tortillas, my friend got huevos rancheros (which he declared to be the best he’s had in California), and my other friend had a breakfast burrito which he actually wasn’t able to finish due to the generous portion.
Each day we went here we weren’t hungry again until the late evening!

The food is good and the staff is friendly. However they need to be trained to operate the cash register better. I bought a $11 burrito and was charged $3.28 cents tax. The tax should have been around $1.10. Maybe the added $2.18 was added gratuity.
