Service was awful I walked in and one of the workers looks at me and walks to the back. After 10 minutes of just sitting there i looked over the counter where then finally 3 employees came out to assist me. They were Not welcoming. No smiles. Once my food was prepared the little girl threw my bad at me on the counter instead of handing it to me. This experience was awful and I believe the attitudes of these employees especially towards an African American individual need to be addressed. These were not the same attitudes presented to the elderly Caucasian lady in front of me. 10/10 would not recommend if you are and African American.

Worst experience I ever had considering how disrespectful the employee staff was to my mom treating her like she was just an irritant and even refusing to give her the bathroom key upon her request. Very very poor attitude. I prefer not to go back to this business ever again and will not be recommending them to anyone!

Great experience here. Ordered a peanut paradise smoothie and avocolada smoothie. Also tried the peanut butter, banana, and granola crunch wrap (or something like that). Especially liked that the smoothies were on special in the morning. Great, fast, friendly service. We were greeted right away. I’d return if I were in the area.

Very nice selection of drinks. They taste very scrumptious and delicious. The floors are very slick and nice. The walls are the color of heaven. And the smoothie machine maker is the color of angels and makes the sound of angelic trumpets. I could listen to the customer service people’s voices all day long. Mm mm mmmmm. I have a dream that one this nation will be called the united tropical smoothie cafes of America . I have a love/hate relationship with both Harrisonburg location Tropical Smoothie Cafes. When they’re open, the food and smoothies are delicious but they regularly close early or are closed completely without notice. They never update their online hours and have caused me to waste my time and gas MANY times. Today was the final straw. I was used to the Port Republic location being closed so I placed an online order for Linda Lane. Everything went through perfectly through the app and I was charged only for me to arrive to Linda Lane to see they they decided to close early today. The open sign was still on and everything. I’m over it. I would love to say I won’t be returning anymore but I guess I’m a glutton for punishment because I love their smoothies.
I will absolutely be calling tomorrow for a refund but that depends on if they decide to open and if they decide to pick up the phone. I’m FRUSTRATED. And now I’m hungry and will have to get some unhealthy fast food.

The shop was so clean and the people were so nice. The food and smoothies were amazing well worth the money. Thank you for and amazing and safe place to eat during this pandemic. When I told the person taking my order about an allergy she made sure all our smoothies were made in sanitized blenders.
