What a find! We are local but this was our first time here. Been going to the nail salon near by for years and decided to try the restaurant with friends! It is now my favorite restaurant and not only near because it is near by.
Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menus. The Supa de Pesce was spectacular. Fresh and delicious! Service was great as well! Can’t wait to return and try some other items on the menu! As a pescatarian this may well be my new favorite restaurant and being local

Monte Casa is the more formal side of New York Pizza, where they don’t serve pizza and have a slightly more limited menu. That helps to keep the atmosphere nicer for an adult night out.
The nightly specials are always great, especially when the Braciole Pomodoro is on the menu. For the regular menu, you have to start with the fried calamari, burrata caprese and /or eggplant rollatini appetizers as they are all top notch.
The chicken Monte Casa and chicken margherita are our favorite chicken dishes, and for seafood, the Monte Casa Branzino and Zuppa di Pesce are excellent. The owner and his entire family are there every day, running the place, so if there’s ever a problem, you can speak to a family member and they’ll make it right. We highly recommend giving Monte Casa a try if you’re in the area.

Chicken with broccoli rabe, Chicken Valentino, stuffed gnocchi. Everything was really good and fresh. The service was very nice and welcoming. You get the feeling it’s a family run restaurant and it is. Homemade stuffed gnocchi with asiago cheese alone is worth going to this restaurant for. Love it. Recommend and going back.

We placed a catering order the past weekend for two pizzas, a mozzarella and tomato appetizer, and 3 hot trays of food Everything was ready and waiting as soon as I got there. Staff was super friendly and helped me carry everything out to my truck. Everything tasted AMAZING. We can’t wait to order again!!

The best Italian food in Morris county. The chicken Valentino is beyond incredible. I also tried the Asian calamari whilst here and it was hands down the best calamari dish I’ve tried. On top of that, this place is run by a top family. Caring, witty and helpful. A must visit if you’re in the area!!!!
