Went there for lunch. The small arcade they had catered to smaller children, while the 3 TVs were playing the day’s football games. The pizza was pretty good; more cheese than a Pizza Hut or Dominos, and a soft but crunchy crust that proved it was made fresh. Piping hot, right out of the oven. Only my youngest didn’t dig right into it, because “it was still too hot”. And for under an hour, the kids put down their devices and it was perfect – a family just enjoying the food and each other’s company.
Service was great from the get-go. I had asked for 1 soda and 3 water cups, and they gave us a whole pitcher of water with ice. They showed us where all the plates and utensils were (right in front of the cashier) – self-serve. And after everyone had had their fill, we got a sturdy box to take back the pieces of pizza that survived (for now…)
We’ll definitely be back.

I’ve posted a negative review in the past regarding the rude staff at this location. The owner, Leann was quick to respond to make things right, so I agreed to remove it. Here we go AGAIN! Rude staff and they refuse to honor what they are posting on their website. Previously their excuse was that they were short staffed and she forgot to update the website. What’s the excuse this time? If you make a commitment to honor what the website shows at the time of order, you should do it. If you forgot, that’s on YOU. We attempted to get the name of the woman who answered the phone, but she refused to give it to us and proceeded to speak over my husband. I reached out to Leann and she admitted she forgot to update the website again, then stopped responding. Unacceptable. All of this business lost over a few bucks to honor what they were publicizing. (I work with suppliers that utilize them for luncheons as well )Also the food is inconsistent.

Vincenzo’s Pizza is my favorite pizza place! I’ve eaten at/picked up/had delivered from Vincenzo’s Saugus for at least 20 years, amongst their previous locations.
The pizza itself is exceptional, high quality and plenty big. We ordered my favorite the other night, the Esperienza, and we were not disappointed. The toppings were fresh and plentiful…. The dough…is one of the highlights which separates this pizza from other places.. I love the thin, slightly crisp, base holding all the toppings.. then you get the real treasure.. the pillowy fluffy “handle”, that I call it. There’s some seasoning ever so slight on the crust that makes it all good. This is definitely a 2 handed pizza slice, and the pizza is all the better for it.
Also ordered some chicken wings which turned out really good. They are sauceless wings that are seasoned to perfection, slight spice to them. They were meaty and flavorful.
I’d have to say the service is good here… The guy who took our order didn’t seem to want to be there… He wasn’t rude or anything, just kinda there to do his job. When I went up to order pizza a little bit later, the lady counting out the till seemed much happier, energetic and eager to assist us.
Overall, Vincenzo’s is still my favorite place.. it’s too bad I don’t live nearby any longer, but I always visit when I’m in the area – like the other night. I go out of my way to visit the Saugus location because I’ve always felt the food is better at this one.. I’ve been to the other SCV locations and, while still good, there’s just something about this location that makes it taste better.

A strip mall pizza has no reason to be this amazing – besides their talented kitchen of course! I don’t even get that gross sluggish feeling I usually get after having a pizza. Just the right amount of grease. Absolutely worth the price and more B)

Bought a barbecue chicken for takeout. Wanted to get a nicer pizza than our usual domino’s but ended up with a dry and disappointing lump of cardboard. Zero flavor and im not sure where the barbecue sauce in our barbecue chicken went. Employees and interior was nice though.

Had the most depressing and stale lasagna I have ever had for 16 dollars. The garlic bread literally is just melted cheese on bread. No garlic. The arcade games were good and the staff were nice though. We didn’t get peanuts like the reviews said.
