We love going here for some solid Italian food. Again, not food critics but we are always happy with how the food tastes and the service. Their pasta is good and their bread is as well. I just found out you can ask for more bread haha so I think it’s like the chips and salsa of the Italian restaurants. Pretty cool. If you want good Italian, this is a good place!

Definitely my favorite restaurant in Norman! Always seated quickly, good size tables with comfortable chairs that I love.
Attended to with ease. I love the fried Mozzarella sticks, the crust has a nice crunch to it, and the marinara is so damn good.
The husband gets fettuccine Alfredo it’s his staple meal, and highly recommends it. I get the tettrazinni and it is divine, the freshness of it all, the flavors. It will always make me come back. The rolls are so tasty, and soak up the sauce with ease while still having a lightness to it.
Also as a very picky salad eater, it’s always so fresh, crunchy, and hydrating.
Te atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, highly recommend getting meals here!!

Great dinner at this neighborhood restaurant. I got the chicken aristocrat and hubs got the pasta sampler. Mine was great. I didn’t get a bite of his, but he said it was good too. Ended with the cheesecake in photo. Great atmosphere and food was delicious.

We had such a fantastic experience at Doni Italian Restaurant! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that really set the mood for a great Sunday lunch after Easter Service. The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented.
What truly made the lunch special was our wonderful server, Phoenix. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish.
We ordered kids’ mozzarella sticks and spaghetti, which were both hits with the little ones. For the adults, we had the stuffed mushrooms, shrimp napeloni, spaghetti carbonara, Chef’s Favorite, and a meatball sub. I highly recommend the Chef’s Favorite—it was packed with flavor and beautifully done. My husband enjoyed his meatball sub as well.
One note: the spaghetti carbonara here was a little different than what we’re used to—it came with thin slices of sausage instead of the usual bacon. While the flavor was still good, it wasn’t quite what we were expecting, so we likely wouldn’t order that again.
Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend Doni if you’re looking for great Italian food and exceptional service!

Rode down to Doni Italian Restaurant on the west side of Norman for a casual date night, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Tucked away in a strip mall, it’s not the kind of spot we’d typically choose for a night out—but we wanted to get in some riding time and decided to give it a shot.
Inside, Doni is much nicer than you’d expect from the outside. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was friendly. I had the chicken parmigiana and my friend had the shrimp Alfredo—both dishes were solid and definitely recommendable. The drinks were also on point.
The only downside was the tiramisu for dessert—it tasted frozen and store-bought, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, for a fun and inexpensive night out, Doni delivered more than we expected. A good local spot worth checking out, especially if you’re in the area.

Found this place on Google looking for Italian food. This place did not disappoint. I loved that there was not a wait and I also loved that it was really great food for the prices. I didnt get to dessert but I took my daughter and daughter-in-law to dinner on mother’s day. Everyone said they would come back again. I agree I will definitely come back again. Im a huge fan of that eggplant parmesean in the sampler. The waiter was attentive and got us everything we needed. He was awesome.

My dinner order was Chicken and Shrimp fettuccine. It was okay but needed lots of salt. Kinda bland. As far as shrimp, there was about 3 medium shrimp in the dish. The chicken was a good size piece. The meal came with a tossed salad. It was mostly a bowl of iceberg lettuce with one small piece of tomato and one pepperoncini pepper. The quantity of food you receive is good. I had a margarita and it was in a small glass but tasted good.

The food here is spectacular and so is the service. This is the shrimp alvino with a bit of added spice and the salmon. The seafood ravioli is also amazing. Fresh pasta, wonderful drinks and tasty desserts keep me coming back to try more things.
