Such a fun restaurant! We got the hot dog tower and our favorites were the Mac daddy and elote! We tried three different espresso martinis and my favorite was the salted caramel!! Justin was our server and he was pleasant. We moved to the bar and Steve was our bartender and he was also great. Would definitely come back!! Also the cookie skillet was good

I liked the fries a lot! It’s a cute place in a cute spot. It was good. Kimchi dog was a good idea ; I liked that. They have sauces on the table so you don’t have to ask for anything. It’s already there. Fun little kitschy spot.
The mozzarella on the “mozz” burger was pretty little but it was a good idea for a smash burger anyways and we did still like it.

Ok… I hate doing these. My hubby and I were very excited. The vibes were great, the service was great. Our food was unfortunately not. Presentation for the dawgs was stellar. They LOOKED delicious. However, the flavor was just not there. My milkshake tasted like creamy water, there was no flavor at all which was so strange. I ordered the elote and kimchi dogs. My elote tasted like mayo and corn. There needed to be WAY more tajin and maybe like a squirt of lime and cilantro on it? The kimchi one was actually REALLY good though! Hubby ordered a chili dog and a wally’s one and felt they were just ok. I know it was day one and it’s so stressful so we are gonna go back in a couple months.

I came in for a dog and saw they had burgers. They I noticed a chopped cheese. So glad I saw it because it was pretty damn good. My only wish is that it was bigger! Service was super fast even though the place was pretty busy. Good job guys. I’ll be back again for sure.

The food has great variety between hotdogs, smash burgers, and chicken sandwiches. Each with a bunch of creative variations. Plenty of apps with good variety as well.
Service is the main reason I keep coming back, between Justin, Meadow, Katie, and the rest of their employees, they all make it feel very welcoming and enjoyable to be here.

Tonight was the first time we tried Wally’s thinking it had wieners like the original but we were very disappointed. They use hot dogs and saugys but not the real wieners. When the waiter came over to the table, he asked how we were doing, we said “Ok, how are you?” His response was “Another day in Paradise.” Led us to believe he hated being there, especially when we told him that we wanted to order our food after we placed ours kids orders. He rolled his eyes and had to take his pen out again. We ordered an appetizer and it came out after with our meals. The smash burger was extremely thin. Good thing it had toppings because you could barely see the meat in the bread. We ordered a hot dog that was pink on the inside and gray on the outside. We asked if it was cooked and were told they steam the hot dogs which is why it was different colors. (They did bring another that was “cooked different.”). Waiter never came back to ask us if everything was ok or if we needed anything. Another person came over to bring the check who was friendly. They need to hire more people like that.

We absolutely love their Newport location so had to try Providence as soon as they opened. Wally’s never disappoints! Dogs are delicious and definitely don’t sleep on their smash burgers. Not pictured is their popcorn chicken, also fantastic. Service was great, friendly and helpful with recommendations. We can’t wait to go back!
