I had bacalao & white rice
My son have pernil & rice/beans with a order of sweet plantains.
The bacalao and pernil were very tasty. The rice was overcooked and the plantains were not sweet at all.
OVERALL: I would cautiously recommend this restaurant.

We were looking for Lao Cocina and ended up here by mistake. We didn’t know we were in the wrong place and we almost left because we didn’t see the platano sandwiches we were looking for. They stopped us and although it wasn’t on the menu they still made them for us. We also had chicharron, black rice, and fresh squeezed juices. The food was delicious! The service was incredible! And omg I’m just realizing those sandwiches are not even on their regular menu. Must go back!

I ordered mangu. When I asked for fresh eggs- not the ones sitting there – the server told me- i would have to take what was there, and they could not and would not make them because the stove had meat cooking in it.
Basically nothing al cart. Very disappointed. Paid $12 for a plate, that had previously cooked eggs.

The food is good that can’t be denied however not all but most of the women that work here are rude as hell. They treat you like you are begging for food when you’re a paying customer simply ordering food. It’s happened on several occasions I won’t be returning.

This place is ridiculous pricey. I ordered two lunches and snapple and lemonade. I was charged a total of $41.50. The cashier said the one lemonade cost $7.50 (small size) and one of the lunches cost $15.50 because it contained cod fish.
The food isn’t all that and the servers attitude is not the best. Never going to this place ever again.
