This spot may be small, but you can tell right away it’s something special. I definitely recommend stopping in. Like the saying goes—and it really applies here—good things come in small packages.
They make amazing pupusitas, which I’d describe as thick, golden-on-the-outside pockets made from corn dough, stuffed with your choice of melty Monterey Jack, smooth refried beans, finely seasoned ground pork, or a combo of all three. Totally worth trying.
They also serve up some solid, authentic Salvadoran dishes. I come here with my family almost every other Saturday to grab a light bite in the morning.
Five stars.

I found a fly in my repolló, honestly so disappointed because their food is good, but having a fly, a dead fly at that is unacceptable.

Overall the food was just… ok. The wait was a bit too long. Waited about 40 mins for my pupusas. 1 of them wasn’t even what I ordered. & the revuelta pupusas were not flavorful. My partner got a torta de huevo con loroco and a pupusa de queso with chicharron and those were good. There are definitely better spots in other areas of LA.

It was my first time here. The pupusas are one of a kind not everyone knows how to make them, but this place does a pretty good job on them. One thing that I liked was the hot chocolate it was made from scratch you know that instant hot chocolate is nasty.

I googled mapped this place because i was craving pupusas and the location I normally drive to is too far. I placed a phone order and the lady was very friendly and sweet. When we arrived, the customer service was great!!! Exceeded my expectations! Not only was the service great but the pupusas were ever better! By far the best pupusas in town hands down! And I am Salvadoran and I’m always comparing my granns pupusas and this is super close!!! Their service and pupusas are amazing. Found my new spot! And to top it off… can not beat the price!!!!!! Stop by this spot…you won’t regret it!

Those are the best and biggest pupusas in Los Angeles, which is really good and delicious food you will find in this place.

Great place. Great food. Friendly staff. They make you feel like family. I will definitely go back. It’s great to find a pupuseria near me.

This place used to be one of my favorites to eat Salvadorian food,
but today I come back after a long while and I notice they’re using string cheese and in every bite I was choking with it.
Plus I ask for a fry fish with garlic sauce and the waiter and the chef refused to give me the garlic sauce even I offer to pay for it. To me that was very rude.
I think Pupuseria Lemus should change they’re actitud and ridiculous Policies towards they’re customers.
I’m very disappointed and sad.

This is a small place you get that from the moment you lay eyes on it. I recomend you going in. Like the saying goes and in this case is very true, Good things come in small packages. They have great pupusas. Wich I describe as a thick crispy form of tortilla filled with either just Monterey Jack chees, just beans, just very fine ground seasoned pork or everything mix together I think there worthy of trying. They also have good authentic salvadorian food. I go here almost every other saturday for breakfast with my family. Five .

You see tacos at every party nowadays. But if you are looking for a different menu item for your next party; I highly recommend Mr. and Mrs. Lemus from Restaurante y Pupuseria Lemus.
My family and I have hired Mr. and Mrs. Lemus twice this year to celebrate my parents’ birthdays.
1. Mr. and Mrs. Lemus are courteous, punctual, respectful, and have great customer service. They sure are a hard working couple.
2. As a Salvadorian I can really be picky about the pupusas I eat. Mr. and Mrs. Lemus’ pupusas are amazingly delicious and well made! They are thick with ingredients versus dough and they are full with flavor.
3. For a reasonable price they provide endless pupusas for 3 hours, the toppings, plates, utensils and napkins.
4. My family enjoy their pupusas so much that one of my cousins has hired them already and after this last party, my uncle was looking to hire them as well.
I am happy to know that their restaurant is not too far from my home.
