Nice atmosphere with a tasty menu. You order at the counter and find a seat. Unfortunately, the wait time was over 30 min for food to come
out. My Mediterranean toast dish came out cold. My husband’s dish came out 5 min after mine. I sent mine back to be reheated which it was but then it came out soggy. $45 for artisan toast , a very basic omelette that came with 1 slice of plain bread ( not toasted, no butter- had to ask for jam) and 2 coffees. Overpriced for what you get imo.

The place is cute. It’s 35 mins away from where I live,and it’s really not what I expected. They give small portions and it’s a little overpriced for me. My husband took a picture of his Omelette six ($15.45)and it’s very flat . On the picture it looks big but it was because the way he took the photo.They charged 3.50 for adding some type of sausage ( $18.95 total for a flat omelette and some toast )but there was barely any. You can’t see it on the picture , but it wasn’t filling for him since we were having our first meal (brunch). He ordered a kids meal somewhere else after we left because he still felt hungry, which he’s never had to do before . We ordered a plate of egg, bacon and a toast for my toddler ($12.50) too little food for that price.I ordered a California panini ($13.45)because I figured that would be filling and it dill fill me up because of the bread , but it doesn’t have too much on the inside,a little stingy with their proteins in my opinion.Finally we got some water ourselves in a small plastic cup. It looks like a restaurant inside ,but service is more like some fast food places because they will take you the food to your table , but that’s it.I must say that I also ordered a Texan panini to-go because my daughter really wanted to try it, but this was our first and last time here. I really wish I would of loved it. Maybe some reasonable prices for the amount of food especially with the omelettes.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting La Francesita Gourmet Bakery Café at 9950 Woodlands Parkway, Suite 400, The Woodlands, TX 77382, and I absolutely loved it.
From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had escaped to a cozy little café in France. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — soft lighting, tasteful French‐inspired décor, and a pleasant hum of conversation. It’s clear this is a family‐owned spot that takes pride in its food and service.
I arrived in the morning, just after 8 AM when they open, and lucked out — the pastries were fresh and plentiful. I ordered a croissant (flaky, buttery, more than satisfying), a panini made on their house‐baked bread, and a latte. The panini was crisp on the outside and loaded with fresh ingredients; the latte was smooth and just the right roast.
I also tried their “Palmier,” which others have called a highlight, and I see why — elegant, delicate layers and sweet without being overwhelming. Evidently these sell out if you wait too long, so going early is smart.
Service was friendly and attentive. I felt welcome without feeling rushed. A nice balance. The staff seemed knowledgeable about their menu and eager to help with recommendations.
Of course, it’s not a bargain basement café — prices are on the higher side. But for the quality of ingredients, the homemade breads, and the craftsmanship, I felt it was worth it.
If I were to nitpick, I’d say: get there early if you want the full pastry selection, and be ok with spending a bit more than you might at a chain. But those are small trade‐offs given how much I enjoyed the experience.
Overall, La Francesita is a gem in The Woodlands — perfect for a relaxed weekend breakfast or brunch, a good coffee stop, or when you want something more than the usual café fare. I’ll be going back.

If you’ve spent anytime in France, you’ll appreciate the quality food and experience at La Francesita. I grew up outside of Paris and everytime I eat here, I’m taken back to my childhood.
We come here almost every Saturday morning as a family. The quality of the pastries is incredible! My wife and I are huge fans of the artesian toasts that they offer. The family and staff that run this place are terrific. If you want to experience an authentic French cafe experience, this is your stop!

We love the food here!! So good and very authentic. We’ve been here a few times already for breakfast. The paninis are really good, the omelettes too and the sweet crepes are delicious. The portions are definitely smaller than in other restaurants, still very tasty tho.

First, and my biggest complaint is the price points. Everything here is quality, but not worth the price. They want 15.50 -18.50 for eggs Benedict. That’s outrageous. So I got something more fairly priced.
Now, with what we ordered, everything was fantastic and full of flavor. It was wonderful. The meals are large and yummy. I was shocked the place wasn’t more busy! (Maybe the price?)
Who knows. I recommend giving it a try!
There was also a hair in my food, it was on a corner, so I pulled it off and left that corner alone. But they cook should wear a hairnet. This isn’t the only hair complaint on the reviews here.

First of all to avoid confusion the cafe says gourmet bakery on the outside not la francesita but dont let that deter you. Its charming and cozy atmosphere was lovely. Prices range depending on what you get. We bought things from low to high to try and all were great quality. Hubby got a plain croissant with jam and butter on the side and a smoked salmon omelet (omelet 4) and I got a nutella crepe and California panini. Sodas are sold by the can but they have water and a selection of coffees as well though we did not try the coffee. The croissant was perfectly flaky on the outside and warm and perfectly textured on the inside. The smoked salmon omelet was delicious (my first time trying smoked salmon and egg together) and as hubby put it a perfectly balanced dish. The panini was delicious and in my opinion bigger than more paninis I end up with in most places. Nice crunch on the outside and warm on the inside with no cold spots in the filling. Now the crepe. Most of yall have had crepes by this point but the difference here was how much more authentic this one was. The taste and texture were spot on. Highly recommend and my toddler seconds that recommendation as he kept trying to get more before he finished his current mouthful. He ate a little of our other dishes as well but of course his favorite was the crepe. The staff were friendly and we had no problem with rudeness as some people have complained. We spent 56 including tip and for the quality I am ok with that. We went at 845-9 am and it was quiet but started to pick up when we left so I recommend going earlier than not as its a small cafe and I can easily imagine it getting packed as the rush comes. There is outside seating as well and high chairs for those with littles. All around, great place and atmosphere with great food. Would dine again.
