It’s seldom you find an Indian restaurant serving to the native taste buds in Germany. We know Athidhi as caterers to the kids’ cricket tournaments that take place around Karlsruhe and had only heard about the restaurant, it lived up to it’s reputation today. Service was unparalleled. I can imagine how hard it would have been to turn an old restaurant to the modern day ambience.
To sum it off, it was a wholesome experience and we would love to be back again. Try the coconut and dry-fruit naan for a change, it was exciting.

The food and service at this restaurant is brilliant. It is also very unique compared to the other Indian food places I’ve been in Germany. I love their concept of having a wide range of Indian food dishes on their menu, rather than only focusing on the typical popular dishes.
Pro tip- do not forget to try their newly launched desi Chinese menu, specially the chilli garlic noodles. Love it! ❤️

Would totally recommend! Me and my boyfriend found it on Groupon and got the 3 course meal for 2 people offer. We got a soup, a main course and dessert for a good price! The food was abundant and amazing, and the service was also extremely kind and gave us extra rice for free. The drinks were also good, and the room is cozy. Thank you, we had a great lunch

The food is really delicious! My dosa was authentic and very tasty. My friends really enjoyed their soup. And we enjoyed the other dishes we had too. It would be good to either have food warmers or hot plates to keep the food warm!

I have visited Athidhi several times, and the food is consistently very good. However, I have noticed significant delays in service each time. The recent dosa event in Karlsruhe was particularly disappointing in terms of organization and wait times. With better staffing to maintain both quality and timely service, this place has the potential to be excellent. The menu is well suited not only for Indian guests but also for German customers, which makes it appealing to a wider audience.

You get here authentic Indian menu. I like this restaurant because all menu here has Indian spices taste right from North India to South India. It make me feel at home . They have à la carte but some times they serve buffet menu during festive days. The ambience is also good. Also keep an eye on there WhatsApp group where you get to know about the offers. They accept only cash and sometimes paypal, but mostly prefer to accept in cash.

Amazing ambience, very very friendly service and above all authentic food, be it indo-Chinese, Tandoor or Biryani make this place a must have experience.
