Walk in without expectations and walk out feeling satisfied. That was my experience at Ember & Alma. I’ve been following Luiz on instagram for a while before I even knew that this restaurant/cocktail bar was his operation. Been here twice and my experience has been solid both times. The food is great, special shout out to their pao de queijo and bananas bravas. Onto their drinks, every cocktail was delicious; You wouldn’t go wrong with ordering a caipirinha or trouble in paradise.
Service can be a tad bit slower when it’s crowded but that’s not unusual at any restaurant so no complaints there. If you’re hungry it makes sense to put in all your orders upfront.
Pricing is great! I think that’s a big factor to consider too for the quality that you get. The same cocktail in the Boston area would be upwards of $25. Overall, I’d definitely recommend paying a visit.

We had dinner at Ember & Alma in Marlboro tonight & were absolutely blown away. This restaurant specializes in Brazilian fusion, elevating traditional dishes alongside incredibly creative cocktails. We started with the grilled octopus atop yucca mille-feuille, which was a fantastic opening. I ordered the feijoada risotto, packed with deeply flavorful pork & topped with perfectly crispy collard greens. He went with the grilled mixed BBQ, which truly had a little of everything—we added chicken hearts, plus yucca fries, tropeiro beans, & potato salad. Every bite, from start to finish, was spot-on. Huge kudos to Marcelo & Iago behind the bar, who took excellent care of us all night. & of course, we couldn’t leave without getting the grilled pineapple to go! We can’t wait to return.

Went last night for an early valentines day dinner and the experience was amazing. The owner lui checked in on us multiple times and made sure that we felt at home & even told us about the restaurant’s journey! We have been here multiple times and the staff’s care always blows us away. The food was also so delicious. This time, we had plaintains, burrata, grilled octopus, and some of their skewers. All soso good. Their cocktail list is also incredibly well thought out w super unique drinks. We got the marlboro sour & pisco disco both so good!

Ember & Alma is a necessary visit if you have friends/family visiting from out of town. Upscale Brazilian food with a creative twist, lots of dishes that will surprise you with flavor combinations you haven’t tried before.
Bananas bravas and/or tapioca cubes are a great way to start. The grilled octopus is very addictive. The skewers here are all great. My two favorites are the shrimp skewer and the pineapple skewer.
For entrees I can’t get enough of the Feijoada Risotto – I could eat it over and over again as someone who loves pork. The Moqueca Stew here is insane, I can’t imagine someone not liking it.
Two 10/10 experiences back to back and I’ll surely return in the future.

Came here for Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful experience. They had a specials menu for Valentine’s Day but prices are not any different than on the regular menu. Food is great, service is professional and wonderful, drinks are great (get the Dictator for the smoky experience!), and atmosphere is very nice!

I was finally able to make it to this wonderful establishment and it was everything thing I felt it was going to be .. Great Energy from all the staff… We tried many delicious plates of food that we had to keep asking for more of… Each drink that we chose had a different wonderful aura, flavor, passion and experience with it.. This place was well worth it. I hope you make it hhere and enjoy this place as much as we did

Unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Not only did the food and drinks take a while (they weren’t that busy either), but the taste and quality was disappointing. I’ve had a lot of grilled octopus and this had an odd texture, the meatballs also lacked moisture and flavor and seemed overcooked. I expected better food especially at this price point. The positive was the drinks and the wait staff – the drinks were delicious and the staff were extremely kind. I can only recommend this place for drinks, not for the food.

My wife and I decided to check out this hidden gem after seeing some reviews and their menu to celebrate our 5yr anniversary. We were thinking at first to go to fogo de chão but honestly after coming here and having the experience we had we absolutely made the right choice! The atmosphere is very cool, gives you this intimate Brazil vibe. The cocktails were stunning and tasted delicious and the food was to die for! The service was very attentive and went beyond to make sure we were having a perfect time. We left there already thinking of coming back to try more different cocktails and other dishes! 100% recommend check it out, you will not be disappointed!!!
