Do not order from here. It’s a ghost kitchen running out of a ruby tuesday. There’s no way to contact corporate to report the massive quality control issue. All you can do is submit a form for a refund. Rice was gelatinous. Chicken was burnt. Bao was somehow stale and soggy at the same time. Steamed dumplings were crispy. This place is scamming people sending out inedible food charging more for delivery and the business makes money off people that don’t get refunds. If you make the mistake of ordering from here get refunded!

DO NOT ORDER HERE. I’m another sucker who ordered delivery of Uber eats without reading the reviews… not only does it look horrific, but it made me so sick. The food is not safe for human consumption. And half of the order was completely missing (a blessing in disguise). I don’t even know what else to say. Just do NOT make my mistake.

The place is awful. The food was inedible. The rice was hard, the buns were stale, and the sauces tasted rancid. Not that I wanted to eat more, but the portions were also ridiculously small.

NASTY!!! Ordered the Orange Chicken and eggrolls. The chicken was dry and the coating was hard. They drizzled it with sauce, so little you couldn’t taste it. Very little rice served with it. They didn’t even provide any sauce for the eggrolls. Extremely tiny portions. The whole thing was inedible and my dog who eats anything turned his nose up at it. Threw it all away as well as my money. Avoid “Blow Chow”, um, Wow Bao.

Bao buns are pretty tasty when they send the right ones. Dumplings are fair. Everything else is garbage. Rice bowls reminded my son of cafeteria food, and the fried rice was so greasy and oily we spooned two full tablespoons of oil out of it. If you want to try this place, order Bao ONLY and then you’re rolling the dice on what flavors you’ll get. What you order doesn’t really seem to concern them. Have ordered three times and the order was only correct once. Third time (with items other than Bao) was not the charm. Gross.

Ordered from the West Ashely location. Delivered by Doordash. They managed to get the pot stickers right but the rest of the order didn’t remotely compare with what my actual order was. The good thing was the team over at Doordash refunded the order. They said it couldn’t be redelivered because the store was not taking new orders. It’s about 5:00 in the afternoon. I think maybe the store wasn’t interested in new orders (or the ones they had). Great idea since I love street food but execution is everything. Good has to be good and right. I’d give Wow Bao a pass and order good food from people who care.

Sooo working out of RUBY TUESDAY, kinda odd there. I ordered the 2 bao plus teriyaki chicken and rice. Definitely didn’t look like teriyaki chicken . No chicken bits nothing. The buns were kind of dry as if they were microwaved. I don’t think I’ll be returning also in an empty restaurant I still had to wait 15 min for my food that was supposedly already ready for pick up. .

Should have read the reviews first. I ordered with Grubhub, and the order was late and wrong. I would have been ok if the order was later and fresh, but my bao were ice cold like they just pulled it from the refrigerator and put them in the box. They were also the wrong ones. Also ordered the Kung Pao chicken bowl, and it came with almost 3 cups of rice and half a cup of chicken, and for $9.99, that is definitely a rip-off. Wow Bao, if you want to succeed, you need to do better.

This place is so gross!!!!!! And it’s in a Ruby Tuesday???? I only learned that from another review…We ordered from door dash so the atmosphere and service are not accurate ratings. We ordered bao buns, chicken teriyaki bowl, potstickers and dumplings. They sent two orders of potstickers, and two of the hardest bao buns ever. We couldn’t even get the paper off the bottom and the one my boyfriend actually bit was as hard as a rock. It crunched like a crouton. The other one went directly in the trash. The chicken and rice was the smallest portion, and it was greasy, and the appearance was off putting too. It looked like a scoop of brown garbage in a pool of grease. It was all plain, dripping with grease, and stale. We are so disappointed and wish we had read the reviews first. Take my warning and the many others. Don’t eat here!!!!!!!!!
