Ordered 2 large pizzas and wings today (Large Hawaiian; Large BBQ Chicken). Teenager at the counter was definitely uninspired and lethargic; when I asked if there were any specials or featured pies she replied “No.” and then stared at me without expression. Not friendly.
When I asked what was on their BBQ Chicken pizza, she replied “We don’t have a BBQ Chicken. It’s whatever you want.”
Despite her lack of enthusiasm or customer service focus, I still tipped $5.
The pizza was good, as were the wings; but I would recommend getting dipping sauce as there was literally no BBQ sauce to be found on the chicken pizza. The ingredients were tasty, hence the 4 stars, but most places drizzle BBQ sauce on the pizza and that would have definitely helped, as it was very dry.
Likewise the Hawaiian had no discernible sauce to be found (see attached photos). They don’t need to be dripping, but for me, the sauce is an important component of a good pie. This would have been a great chance for this young lady to upsell some dipping sauce, but probably expecting too much.
The drab interior (with sun-faded vending machines and nothing else of note) does not make one want to sit in and enjoy, but maybe that’s a management choice.
Verdict: $50 for 2 large pizzas and 8 wings; decent price, decent food, but it could be so much better.

First time at MJ’s Gourmet Pizza, and I’m genuinely blown away. I was still chewing my last bite while writing this review — that’s how good it was.
I ordered the pizza sub, and wow. The outside had that perfect crunch, while the inside stayed light, fluffy, and just the right amount of gooey thanks to the ideal hit of garlic butter. Every bite felt like it was crafted with intention.
Their garlic dip deserves its own shoutout — rich, flavourful, and clearly something special.
You can taste the love in the food. Hand‑made, slow‑baked for 30 minutes, and absolutely worth the wait.
Highly recommend. Easily a 5‑star experience.

Reheated slices are second to none because of the quality of the dough. Just as good as fresh.
Words aren’t enough.
Go and experience this for yourself.

Update: Let me revise. MJ’s has always provided good service and last night I was a little frustrated. I apologize. However, I do know for a fact that a while back we had ordered a medium on your receipt system and had it delivered. There were not extras totaling $25. I well remember the older gentleman who always refuses tips, who may be the owner, where I counted out 5 receipts at my door. None the less I apologize for my abruptness and we will be back.

Decent priced pizza with a lot of cheese. Light on the sauce, even if you ask for extra. Hot sausage is more of a cut up pepperette than a proper sausage but otherwise the toppings were really good. Friendly staff and quick service.

Amazing,hot and on time. Very well priced. Excellent value. You do not need to order extra toppings, it comes loaded. Family owned and run, you can taste their passion. The crust is Rich and basted in what tastes like a garlic butter. Both the BBQ and Pizza sauce are authentic and explosive in your mouth. Very rich. Very filling.
