I used to have great sandwiches there but it is hit or miss (I guess depending on who makes your sandwich!). The last few times I went there it was more miss than hit.
I once found hair on my sandwich, and last time I went my bag was all dripping and found out whoever made this order found a way to put steak outside of the bread. Needless to say that ruined my appetite and I threw it all away!

Ordered 2 subs roast beef and Turkey and 2 salads. I love their salads but in this case I threw them both out. It was so unattractive and tasted like old ingredients. I drove all the way in traffic from Dorchester just to be disappointed. I knew that it was going to be a problem when I asked for extra vegetables on the side which has never been a problem in other firehouse stores but this time I was told that it would be extra since asking for extra vegetables is the same as asking for extra meat. Which I have always done. Ohhhh no. Onions and cucumbers are not the same as meat but ok. Will not go back to this location. On another note I was told by my family that both subs were excellent.

The quality at Firehouse Subs is amazing! I go out of my way to get the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket sub all the time, it’s covered in BBQ and mayo and is easily one of my favorite lunchtime treats!
Highly recommend this place to anyone, the service is good and the restaurant is very nice, always clean and multiple TVs to watch while you eat.

My first time visiting a Firehouse Subs location. First impression, it was bright and clean. The employees were nice. I was a bit surprised by the limited selection. I was told a small was really small and opted for a medium sub which was very good. I had a little bit of sticker shock at the price, which seemed a bit expensive. I would go back again if in the area.

These guys make great sandwiches but they do it slow and not with a smile. Lady this weekend was grumpy and was complaining to her coworker. There were three staff members but it still seemed to take about 4-5 minutes per sandwich. We waited about 15 minutes for our order which is not great. Had to go back and ask for napkins too.

One of our favorite sub shops, though it’s currently slow due to staffing shortage. But we keep coming back, even with the shortage/slow delivery of a sub. That tells you something.
Good, hearty, flavorful subs, quality meat (I used to work in a deli, I know the brands), and good array of toppings.
Don’t have spinach, though, the one missing ingredient.

This review has nothing to do with the quality or taste of their sandwiches, which are amazing.

HOWEVER. Standing while waiting for my order, I was witness to this older lady manager/owner? absolutely berating the two workers, even to the point of taking a sandwich and throwing it directly in the trash because they mixed something up? Every single customer in the joint felt bad for the two. I hope you guys find a job where they’re nicer to you because holy heck, this was my first, and now my last time coming to this particular shop. What a horrid woman. Be nice to your staff, or you won’t have to worry about messed up orders because you’ll be the only one making them. Absolutely unreal what I witnessed today. Shame on you. My heart goes out to the staff.

There was also a girl working there and thus is not a recent review, it was a few months back on our way through Woburn, so there’s a great chance those two boys have quit since then. Keep showing your butt, though. Get help, like mental help.* (Edited 2x, first to make sure folks knew I was speaking of the manager or supervisor who THREW sandwiches away and screamed at the guys when they messed up an order, and I swear to God I’ll dig through virtual receipts to prove I was there. Food here is pretty solid, though it takes a while to get your food even when the place is dead. My only real complaint would be that the construction of the sandwiches can be a bit haphazard. Last time I was in they brought my sandwich and put it down rapidly as they were delivering several tables at once and half of my sandwich fell apart resulting in very messy fingers as I fought to get it rambled reassembled. It was delicious though!

Wow, just a bad experience. Place was dirty. No napkins. The 2 guys working were really nice but they seemed overwhelmed.

Ordered cups of soup and the containers were only filled half way! Like $4 for the soup and you get like 5 oz.

The meatball sub was tasty but again…for $13 I expected more.

Manager at this store is incredible, she goes out of her way all the time, either on the phone or in person, she has the patients of a saint, and it absolutely shows in the quality of her work and the high standard in which she keeps her shop. Everything going out the door is always to perfection. I actually thought she owned the branch. Her son is equally dedicated. Very Hard workers, especially during the pandemic. Credit is due when your that dedicated and there is shortage of workers everywhere. I know when i order for my family no matter how busy it gets, im bringing home the best subs ever made
