This is a good little Mexican food truck in a gas parking lot in East Nashville. I ordered on Uber eats for pick up. It said it would take 5 to 15 minutes, but it actually took 30 which disappointed me. I ordered a crunch wrap and a junior burrito to try. Both were really good, but the highlight was the chips which were thick and extra crunchy. Seems like a good spot for a quick bite if you are in the area or a good drunk meal. I don’t know if I’ll be going out of my way to go there again.

Had nachos earlier, I was hungry haven’t eaten all day. Got my food there is no Queso on it, chips are old , burnt, can’t Hardly bite into them. I dnt know wat happen today with the food. Horrible.

Not the normal from Cheap Charlie’s but the last couple of times we have ordered food it didn’t turn out as expected. Tonight we ordered nachos and a burrito. The burrito had rice in it which was not in the description and was not added on. Nacho toppings were great but the nachos themselves were burnt to a crisp and inedible.

Amazing amazing amazing! Don’t be fooled by the appearance of this taco truck, the food is delicious!! I had the chorizo crunch wrap (not spicy) and tacos! Prices are extremely low and the food comes out fast! My tummy was very happy during and hours later after eating. Just keep in mind it’s outdoor seating so dress warm if you plan on eating there!

Very cute little taco truck stationed near a gas station. We went to Pie Town Tacos and for some reason they were closed earlier than they were supposed to and they suggested we try Cheap Charlie’s nearby.
As the name suggests, it’s cheap and the seating outdoor area is cute for a taco truck. The food didn’t dazzle me, and based on the great reviews, I had great expectations. We tried 8-9 items from the menu including all kinds of tacos, wrap, chicken quesadillas. Everything was average but the sauces were good and elevating the dishes.
Be ready to find street parking if you’re going there. They also do Uber eats, doordash etc.

We went here on a Saturday night. There was no line and every thing on the menu was cheap and true to the name. I got three tacos and they were delicious. The only thing I would say is that the location was not ideal. It looked as though most people ordered to go which makes sense because there wasn’t a big seating area. Overall, we were all happy with our food.

One of the best taco trucks I’ve been to in Nashville! They do have a small area in front of the truck sectioned off with a pergola and seating. I can imagine how nice it will be to visit in the summer. Highly recommend the carne asada fries, especially with the salsa verde drizzled all over. I got pastor and barbacoa tacos which were equally juicy and on point in flavor. Topped them off with the grilled onions, lime juice, and salsas. Pretty sure I didn’t breathe the entire time I was inhaling them.
