The poke bowl really stands out, you can choose 2–3 proteins, plus plenty of veggies, fruits, and tons of add-ons and dressings. Everything tastes so fresh, healthy, and well balanced. It’s one of those meals that fills you up without feeling heavy.
The ramen is also very good, with a rich and tasty broth and a solid portion size. You can tell care goes into the food.
This was already our 2nd visit, and we’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something fresh, nutritious, and satisfying near the park!
Food was really good we order a variety of dishes:
1. Chicken ramen: was very flavourful and good quantity of chicken, price wise I guess its okay
2. Chicken yakisoba and my daughter didn’t really like it, she said it was too sweet, price wise a bit overpriced for that plate
3 Crispy chicken ramen and it was also good only difference is they serve the chicken on the side
4.Poke bowl this was my favorite! Everything was so fresh, and so many choices to add, I had mango on mine and it was super hard other than that it was amazing and the serving size is good! price wise
We also had boba drinks flavores were coffee, matcha, strawberry and tiger sugar(this last one was super sweet) coffee was my favorite!
Overall decent experience!
Firstly, the heavy set white guy who took my order had no sense of customer service. He seemed annoyed that I came in to eat and was more concerned about getting back to whatever he was doing on his phone. The guys who served my food were polite.
The taro milk tea was average and there’s definitely better places to get some. I will say though that the boba was fresh and soft.
And the ramen. Christ it was terrible. The chashu was very tough and chewy. Either it was over cooked or had been sitting under a warmer all day. The tonkotsu broth tasted like it was made with dirty tap water. The noodles were rubbery and chewy. The egg looked like plastic. There was a single fish cake at the bottom of the bowl. This place is fast food levels of ramen, like Burger King in the middle of nowhere quality. Just really, really bad. I would recommend you try making your own at home. Your first attempt would probably be better than what they serve here.
But now? I dont know if they have new cooks or what, the last 2 – 3 times? The wood mushrooms tastes slimy and gross. My bean sprouts had a suspicious pink tinge. The noodles were meh tbh. My bowl of ramen had barely any tonkatsu broth in it. The Pork Belly was was dry and still somehow tasted raw in the middle. I know the difference in taste in raw and cooked pork, and this tasted raw in the center.
The only thing in the bowl I could stomach, was the steamed veggies I added. When I say that this has been my order for the last 2-3 years and it has never tasted like this, please know I mean it. I though the first time or two I noticed things tasted off, it was just timing but no. The ramen is not the same.
Losing a favorite restaurant is worse than heartbreak. If that bowl looks good to you, KNOW that they have and can do better.
