My partner and I visited Criollo for date night yesterday, and it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant has a modern yet chic aesthetic that sets the perfect mood. We chose to dine on the patio, which was incredibly cozy thanks to the fireplace and—best of all—a complimentary s’mores station!

The food was delicious. We ordered the steak and fries and the Spanish croquettes, but the star of the show was definitely the Pozole Verde. It was absolutely Delicious!

The service was friendly and helpful throughout the night. We even ended up chatting with a lovely woman and her daughter at the next table, only to find out it was the owner, Melanie (I think that’s how you spell it). It’s always special to see an owner so engaged and kind. Highly recommend this spot for a great meal and a warm atmosphere!

We had the best time as a group of women going to Creola for our annual Christmas dinner. The service was amazing and every dish is thoughtful. We shared lots of small plates and it was the perfect amount of food. Also, their cocktails are delicious especially the dirty martini and Brut sparkling

Really enjoyed our visit for lunch on a Saturday. Shrimp tacos were amazing, and arepas were on point too! Mixed drinks were a bit pricey (compared to other restaurants), but tasted good. We will be back for dinner for sure.

Wow. Just … WOW! Beautiful space, cozy bar area, great Bourbon selection, excellent wine pours and amazing food! The menu had great variety and everything was delicious. We were treated like treasured friends, including a thank you card presented to us upon arrival. Zach was an attentive bartender and Tori also checked on us often. Criollo really takes the Beaufort restaurant scene to the next level.

Now listen here — if you lookin’ for the best cocktails in the whole Lowcountry, stop playin’ and get yourself to Criollo. These folks don’t just pour drinks; they perform miracles behind that bar. CAN I GET AN AMEN? The martinis?! Lawd have mercy, smooth as silk and colder than your ex’s heart. And that Old Fashioned? Baby, they oughta rename it the New Fashioned, ‘cause they done perfected it better than anybody else around. And the food? They ain’t fixin’ to play with your time… The arepas are little golden clouds of heaven filled to the brim with meaty-cheesy goodness. The gambas al ajillo—garlicky, buttery shrimp that’ll make you wanna sop up every drop with the bread. The croquettes are deliciously crunchy yet soft in the middle, and that guacamole? So fresh it’ll make you question every other guac you ever had. It’s got that warm Southern charm mixed with rich Latin flavor, and baby, that’s a combo straight from the good Lord himself. Whether you’re local or just cruisin’ through Beaufort, you gotta stop by. Come thirsty, come hungry, and don’t leave without a martini. Trust me, this the spot everybody gonna be talkin’ ‘bout.

Wonderful People & Food… Guac, Gambas al Ajillo Skillet, and Roasted Poblano Peppers are a must! Cocktails Rocked and Kitchen is serious about making great food. I will be back again and again. Thanks so much!

I was booked (musician) for a rehearsal dinner and wedding party at this restaurant. The owners were on site and hands on the entire time. The staff and owners made sure I had all a needed for the occasion. The food was top notch, and the service was the best. I appreciated so much the hospitality of everyone on site. Looking forward to going there just for dining!

Food was good as was the service but, think it ridiculous to be charged $4 for olive juice in a Dirty Martini And,I don’t take vermouth. Another restaurant charges for ice like they aren’t already charging enough. While I’m not in the industry how about you charge the going rate which seem to be $15 and not worry about if they want an olive, onion, extra olive juice

Drinks were fantastic. Ordered dirty martini and aperol spritz both made very well. Decided to go for the pulpo salad and watermelon salad appetizers. Both were good with the pulpo shining through between the cold octopus and warm arepas. The watermelon was good but needed more cheese to balance the dish. My biggest issue came when the flank steak arrived at our table. I have never seen a more sorry plate of steak in my life. $19 for 4 pieces of dry and cold slivers of meat. Chimichurri? Didn’t taste it. The portion of fries being the majority of the plate just felt like a slap in the face. The sad drizzle of mayo on them was the straw that broke the camels back. Unfortunately, I asked for the bill then and there. Was expecting more and sad that I can’t recommend anything more than a few drinks.

Very cute place and good drinks but super expensive. Be prepared to pay $50 for 2 cocktails with tip.
