This place is a hidden gem. Totally worth the drive for a day trip from surrounding areas, or passing through town just off 290. Maybe you’ll see the local peacock meandering the streets, visit the quirky antique thrift store, or go in a nature hike at the nearby state park. Surf and turf fare is fresh and locally sourced. Pampano and Crawfish were delicious. As were the fresh veggies, and homemade salad dressing. Great prices too, and they were super friendly and gave outstanding service!

Great experience from start to finish! This family owned restaurant they said has only been opened less than a year but we loved it! Boiled shrimp was flavorful and cooked perfectly. Grilled quail was deliciously spiced and my 10 year old loved the catfish nuggets. And the fried shrimp was perfect! Fast service and great atmosphere. Will gladly visit again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Outstanding experience all around. This restaurant truly nails both fish and steak, which isn’t easy to do. The seafood was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the steak was tender, flavorful, and done exactly right. You can tell quality ingredients and attention to detail are a priority here. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Whether you’re in the mood for a great cut of steak or expertly prepared fish, this place delivers every time.

Spent a family birthday dinner here during the antique show. Keep in mind… October is the fall antique show. Any local restaurant you go to during October is more than likely going to be unbelievably SLAMMED more than usual. Despite the business, the wonderful staff here were so sweet and helpful. Food was delicious! I am so proud of them for managing to accommodate every table with a smile on their face. I would have been like a deer in headlights if I had to cook for/ or serve that many people! Our local restaurants are amazing! ❤️❤️❤️ thanks guys!

Appetizers were fantastic! Get the fried zuccini! Ordered 2 steaks one mid rare one medium both were well. Wine was almost skunked. There aren’t a lot of options in town open after football…skip the steak get the burger or fired shrimp. Skip the wine unless you buy the bottle. There’s been a restaurant here for as long as we can remember pick smarter than we did. Skip the steak get the shrimp or burger

I called and asked for gumbo and wasn’t asked what size I get here to pick my order up and they said it was only one size and charged me for a large. I looked in menu and there was two sizes and I really wanted the small my order was $30 today

The food here has always been really good, but the service is consistently terrible. Every visit it’s been hard to get drink refills, drinks come out wrong, and food gets delivered incorrectly. The building is usually hot and uncomfortable, which makes the dining experience even worse.
On my last visit, they seated me right next to a TV that was blaring the whole time, and my server never came back with the check—I had to track someone down just to leave. It’s a shame because the kitchen does a great job, but the service and atmosphere completely ruin it.
