My goodness. I am in shock and awe. It’s not often Smyrna has good food – i haven’t tasted anything good in Smyrna since 2018/2019. The food choices here in Smyrna makes one want to cry. BUT THIS RESTAURANT HERE, The Spot makes me wanna click my heels and run through the streets telling someone & everyone about it.
My goodness the food is so damn good and flavorful. My husband ordered chicken breast w/ mash potatoes , Mac & spinach. Talk about PLEASED and satisfied.
I ordered the Pineapple Jerk Chicken over rice w/ Mac & Cabbage 11/10. It could’ve truly been a 15/10 if the basmati was Jasmine rice. That really would’ve done it for me.
If you’re in Smyrna and have some working taste buds – this is the spot to be. FLAVORED food, black owned, hot AND fresh, and just sinfully delicious – like you cannot go wrong.
Banana cake 10/10. Definitely recommend. Not too sweet, literally perfect to finish off your meal – IF you can. The portions are also very generous.
Stop by and have some 12/10 cooking. The not playing about the blend of culture. ♀️

Thank you “The Spot”, it was absolutely phenomenal. The food was incredibly tasty from start to finish. The mashed potatoes were light and fluffy, with a garlic flavor that was very present without being overpowering. It was comforting and well balanced. I appreciated that the chicken drumstick was butterflied, which immediately put me at ease, as it was clearly well cooked and done perfectly. Since it was my first visit, I played it safe with mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and spinach, and every choice paid off. Everything exceeded my expectations, and next time I’m going all in and trying more from the menu. I genuinely can’t wait for my next meal here.

My first time i ordered Brown stew chicken. I loved it. I went back a couple days later and ordered a salmon dinner. I have order the salmon every time I stop by.i have never been disappointed. This place is amazing. I did not have high expectations, due to the lack of food here in Smyrna. We finally have a place to get real food, with a great taste. The food was cooked with care by someone who cares what they serve. Breath of fresh air or mouth full of delicious food. Either way it’s great. Thank you chef who ever you are. Please I just ask that you stay consistent with the deliciousness. I give it 2 arms up

Pineapple jerk chicken & rice. Food was not enjoyable at all. When I hear jerk chicken it’s leg & thigh or breast & wing not a piece of chicken breast cut up in cubes. The jerk seasoning was over powering the dish and there wasn’t any pineapple flavor to it at all the rice bland. I had a few spoonfuls then could not eat any more just throw it away….. FRONT END COULD NOT ANSWER MY QUESTIONS WHEN ASKED REGARDLESS IF IT WAS BONELESS OR NOT THE TASTE AND QUALITY OF THE FOOD FOR ME WAS NOT IT ALL ALL

Incredible jerk lamb and rice with yams. Real heat that builds with each bite. Portion was huge, got 3 meals out of it. Wish they hadn’t run out of Mac and cheese so I could have tried that. The place needs some art though. The small pick up area with blank white walls looks clean but could be more vibrant with some cool prints and a “blend of culture” on the walls as well as in the food.

Let me just start this off by saying BOMB 10 out of 10! If you have not tried this place…. RUN! The food was absolutely amazing and I could not stop eating it. If you don’t feel like cooking but want a home cooked meal this is the spot!

Where to begin, the food is disrespectfully amazing and there is so much of it. We also got the candied yams which were amazing. My wife and I haven’t stopped talking about it. Excellent small town service and even better food. Highly recommend!

Tried this place on a whim today and I definitely was not disappointed. This was the best meal I’ve had in years! The lamb was perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor, the mac and cheese was amazing, and the fries were fresh. The cabbage was tender and well-seasoned, and the rice was flavorful. Everything was a solid 10/10! I will be returning again to try more items on the menu.
