Worst curry I have eaten.
Did not cater for coeliacs at all. Do not go if you have any dietary needs, they simply do not understand.
The food was produced cheaply, with too much salt and the team seemed totally unprepared for customers.
Would not recommend

Ate here last night and when arriving we felt very welcomed straight away. Service and food were excellent from Koush and the team!

Lamb shank chefs special was delicious as the meat fell off the bone.

Was even given a complimentary brandy as we’d been messed around by the taxi company on the way there.

A little expensive, if you consider £14 for a standard dish a little expensive before adding rice or bread, although a beer at £6.50 or £7 is not far off the norm.
The group had a variety of dishes from mild tandoori to spicy dishes and all hit the spot.
Having had a few curries up north recently, it was painful to pay double.
Fod was a good standard though, as is usual at Tamarind Tree and Wokingham will not be the same as Newcastle so not a bad choice for the area.

Another nice meal. Didn’t book a table, but we got a table for three people at about 6.45pm. Not sure why we always get poppadoms and dips, because it’s just never good value for what you get and pay, but this is really the same as all Indian Restaurants. Its clearly a good restaurant, because it filled up pretty quickly and that was on a Wednesday night. We were going to try the other Indian Restaurant a few doors down, but on our last visit to that one, it was freezing inside and it spoiled our meal.

First order in a while after moving away from Wokingham and it didn’t disappoint. The Lamb Dopiaza and garlic naan were excellent and very reasonably priced

We fancied a curry on a Monday night in Wokingham and ended up in the Tamarind Tree. The service was great. The place was busy for a Monday evening. We shared a starter, main, three side dishes and rice. That was more than enough. We had a main called Chingri Jholl, a king prawn dish which was excellent. Sides were Bhindi Bhaji, Brinjal Bhaji and Tarka Dall. The only disappointment was the Brinjal dish, which was ok-ish. All in all, a great evening. I’d go back again.
