5 of us went for the buffet.They were busy so we ended up waiting 1/2 hour for a table. During that time several couples were seated before us. I asked if they could just pull 2 tables together for us. The answer was no and we should have left. We finally got to the buffet and i must say there was no taste to most of the items. The mixed vegetables were not even warm and although the veggies are supposed to be crisp, I am sure they weren’t cooked for a minute. My daughter took one bite of the ribs and spit it out. That night 3 of us came down with the symptoms of food poisoning. We all had eaten something with chicken. This is 24 hours later and i still cant keep anything down. The other 2 are playing musical chairs to the bathroom. Tomorrow I will put in a complaint with the Board of Health as their kitchen needs to be checked out. If others were there Saturday the 21st I would love to see their experience.

Can’t remember the last time I ate at a buffet! We called to make sure the buffet was on this night. Food was constantly coming out when the dishes looked half empty, food was always hot and tasted great! Service was excellent and super friendly. We will definitely return for buffet!

Worst dining experience I have ever had. Meal was disappointing and genuinely concerning. The quality and preparation of the food was terrible. The vegetables were completely raw, the meat was questionable and undercooked. The entire plate was strikingly bland, lacking any semblance of seasoning, spice, or the deep savory flavors you expect from good Chinese cuisine. It was utterly flavorless.
After forcing myself to eat only about three bites, I immediately started feeling unwell. I had to stop eating, and the sickness lingered long after we left. This is far beyond poor taste; this is a severe failure of kitchen standards that risks customer health.
I highly advise everyone to avoid this establishment. It was a complete waste of money, and frankly, a health hazard.

I would recommend this to everyone. Went for the first time this year after listening to my family talk about it for years. Food was very good so I ended up taking my family for the buffet we all enjoyed it so much and you are never rushed. This place is amazing.

Chicken which would have made me sick if I ate it! When I called to let them know I was told I could get double order of chicken balls next time in stead of just bringing my chicken balls! He told me they only have one driver so it would take to long to get them to me! Needless to say I will never order from here again! I feel a little ripped off!

I drove 25 min to eat at the buffet, when I got there there was no buffet. Yet when the waitress brought the menu it clealy said ” Buffet every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday starting at 4:30 and it was 5:20. I should have left when that was a fail.
I ended up ordering the Cantonese Chow Mein. It came out to the table and right away I could tell it had been microwaved. The noodles on the outside of the plate had burn marks from being put in dry. I went to take a bite of the broccoli and it was so hot it burned my lip. Another sure sign it was slapped together cold then microwaved. 75% of the noodles were still rock hard like they came out of the package.
The waitress came over and asked how everything was, and when I said horrible the noodles aren’t even cooked. She got defensive and said “we cook the noodles first in a pan”, then walked away. Didn’t ask if she could fix it or offer an alternative. I’ve personally burned noodles in a microwave a few times and it was exactly how they looked.
Overall bad experience. I won’t be back.

The food was warm and tasty. Great price, better deal in the long run than taking the wife to McDonald’s. The only drawback is that it’s a small town restaurant, so limited selection. Sorry, no sushi, but it has the standard rice, chop sui, egg rolls, wanton soup, wok fried vegetables, and small salad bar. Some cocktail shrimp and deep fried shrimp my wife likes, that’s it for sea food. The staff is friendly. Want to be full at the end of your meal this is the place. Atmosphere is no-frills, but the restaurant is clean. I would highly recommend it if you are passing by the town of Essex .
