Would’ve loved to see inside the cafe and try the food. But it was a Sunday and they closed at 4. It was a 2 1/2 hour wait so maybe next time

I love the atmosphere. The front porch rocking chairs just does it for me. Seating right next to the door allowed the breeze to enter, which was satisfying with the AC on giving an outdoor feel. The friend green tomatoes were tasty and the blackened catfish was perfect.

Wow!!! The movie which came out 30??? years ago is still going strong! First we went to Dauset Trails (a few miles away). Please go and support them. A beautiful animal sanctuary. Don’t take any noisy friends. I wish they had a sign to be respectful of the animals…
After we signed in for the restaurant I asked a couple coming out how long the wait was. This guy tells me 2.5 hours. I thought he was being a smart as..donkey. Nope!! I visited a couple stores and sat across the street from the restaurant because of the crowed waiting…someone would come out and holler names every few minutes…
When we went in…that was the hardest working staff I’ve ever seen.

Didn’t get no picture. But never had any better. And yes it was worth the wait I will do it again.

It was just ok. It wasn’t worth the wait though. We went on a Saturday at 230. We waited more than an hour. Nice little town with shops. People were smoking on the porch while we waited which was horrible to sit by.

We were just there on our way to Florida for vacation. Thought it would be nice to take out son-in-law since he has never been I have to say that we do not treat tourist this way in Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg. Locals have to wait just as long as tourist to get to in to eat. After the 1 and 1/2 hours sitting on the porch waiting, freezing and watching locals be catered in will never go back. Same on the service.
