Went to Chat and Chew Thursday, August 28, 2025. around 4 pm. Was easy to get to and find. There was plenty of parking. We were in a big group and were seated immediately. The interior is not fancy, but has interesting memorabilia, including a life size Elvis. The prices were fair to excellent, especially considering the generous portions. The food was delicious. My wife had chopped liver and onions topped with bacon and I had a double stack bacon cheeseburger. We were both happy. The waiter was friendly and fast. He refilled our drinks several times. Overall, the Char and Chew delivered good service, good food, and a good experience. I recommend it for families, couples, and work groups. I will definitely eat there again. Thanks, Chat and Chew.

my friend & i talk about stopping here each time we pass it, today we finally did. We could not have been more happy with the service & food. I got the Marylander sandwich (chicken w/ crab cake & old bay mayo) it was excellent. Their prices are too good to beat especially nowadays. We spent less here than fast food!! Honestly, they’re every bit as good as what I’ve had at coastal seafood spots. It’s a rare find, and they do it right.

Service was wonderful! Very friendly waitress, busser, and cashier. They patiently helped my great aunt, who has limited hearing. The open face burgers were good, the mashed potatoes were instant and not great. Seafood is frozen except shrimo days, where the shrimobis fresh and steamed. The liver was very very dry and tough, not crispy at all. Overall, I would go again to try something different. Great prices.

Chat and Chew has an awesome breakfast menu. I got the country fried steak with some home fries added and it was great. Large portion of food for the price. Atmosphere is a local crowd but super friendly. Personally loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Its the best bang for your buck when it comes to food. Staff is very nice and attentive. Breakfast was pretty packed with a morning crowd and I believe we waited about 12 minutes after ordering before our food was done and served. 10 outta 10 for this place!

However, it took a while to be seated and note to waitress: when you stop at the table ask to clear the empty salad bowl or dishes so we’re not eating our main meal with dirty dishes or if a refill is needed.
