I LOVE this place ❤️ I order from here alll the time using Uber Eats and the food is always fresh and flavorful I definitely order a few times a month lol But with my last order, the driver had forgotten a portion of my order at the restaurant. He didn’t go back to pick it so one of the employees was kind enough to go OUT OF HER WAY…and bring me the rest of my food. I even spoke to the owner and she was so kind and extremely helpful in helping me resolve this issue! I just don’t have enough good things to say about this restaurant. If you’re looking for some REALLY GOOD AND TASTEFUL AMD YUMMY-IN-YOUR-TUMMY food, then you really need to order from here or stop by and pick up something. Pleeeease! Everything is SO good and I promise you will NEVERRRRR be disappointed ♀️

This was my first time coming in, and meeting the owner. Now, I am already MORE obsessed. They have a new expanded space and I had the pleasure of hearing her vision for the new expanded space. It genuinely inspired me. She’s creating a cozy, community‑centered nook that feels like one the best little café corners in Brooklyn — warm, intentional, and made for people to gather.
The Yard sandwich has me in a chokehold. It’s so good it’s almost disrespectful. And as someone who only eats her momma’s homemade banana pudding, I have to admit…I actually love hers. That alone says everything about this place!
And, the new addition with the books and the cozy seating is exactly the kind of space I can see myself in — posted up with my sandwich, unwinding, and enjoying the vibes.

Whew this one is bringing me out of review retirement. Everything about this place is thoughtfully crafted and taste amazing. I’m stuck on the jerk chicken sandwich this was my 3rd one it’s just so damn good . The owner is so down to earth she offered me samples of new future menu items and was interested in my feedback. Next time I need to give the jerk chicken sandwich a break (easier said than done) cause I’ve been eying the rice bowl as well but in the meantime?!… Every. Star. Deserved.

The food at this spot was AMAZING! From the customer service, to the food portion and meal presentation, was absolutely excellent. I was a little skeptical at first because a lot of Caribbean restaurants don’t always have the best customer service, but this spot sure does! The lady who served my food was very patient with me because she could tell that I was very overwhelmed by the food selection. She also was able to help me choose the best sauces to make the meal more enjoyable. At the end of the service she gave me a sample of this delicious banana bread. I will DEFINITELY be returning!

This spot is amazing! The food, atmosphere, staff, and music make it such a great place to visit. This is my second time here in the last few weeks—I came with my sister before, and now with my mom. I highly recommend coming here and supporting these lovely people and their restaurant. I’ll be back again because I feel so welcomed, and I always smile when I’m here enjoying a delicious meal ✊ .

It’s my first time back at tosst and presst in many months. Life has been so tumultuous that I didn’t want to risk feeling sad while visiting a place that has brought me joy—both alone and with my family. But today I decided to come, because this place holds such happy memories, and I hope being here can help me heal . I’m deeply grateful that this restaurant exists.

New seating area!! The awesome owner was there during my unplanned visit, and I got to see the new dining area for guests! It looks amazing and cozy. I still ended up having my favorite meal even though I walked in saying I didn’t know what I wanted at the moment

I had such a great experience at Toos’t snd Press’t, especially on Valentine’s Day. The whole vibe felt warm, welcoming, and perfect for the occasion.
I ordered the jerk chicken rice bowl and it did not disappoint. The chicken was seasoned perfectly — flavorful, slightly spicy, and cooked just right. The rice paired with it so well, soaking up all the sauce and spices. Every bite had balance and real depth of flavor.
I also tried the Love Box for Valentine’s Day, and that was such a nice touch. It felt thoughtfully put together and made the experience feel special, not just like grabbing food but actually celebrating the moment. You can tell they care about presentation and quality.
Overall, everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and made with attention to detail. Definitely a spot I’d go back to and recommend to anyone looking for great food with a personal touch.
