I’d never heard of the hole in the wall cafe before I searched Google for a place to have lunch that wasn’t fast food. Other than the two ladies working the line and the register (if I were a Yankee or a city dweller I might have thought nothing of it) rushing me though there was no line, I got no complaints. The food was excellent, sweet tea was fresh, and the hoe cakes were some of the finest corn bread I’d ever eaten

Southern Style Cafeteria (buffet) Comfort food, made just like Grandma makes and in a kind way served by several Grandma’s. Several food options with good portions for a reasonable price. I did not try desserts, but they looked yummy.
Some options you see on the menu are not on the buffet, they are brought from the kitchen or you might have to wait a very few minutes to be delivered to your table.
The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly. Plenty of seating. Floors are a little slippery because of humidity, so be careful.
This was our first visit and we will be back.

Closing Department
We had our company Thanksgiving lunch and called on The Hole in the Wall to cater our meal. It was delivered early, set up, and ready to eat by the expected time. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection! Thank you, The Hole in the Wall, for a great experience.

Went here today for the first time ever to give it a try and I will say personally it was good I give the customer service a high score and the food about a medium the only down side to this was the price. I got a lunch plate and two sides, a pie and a fountain drink and my total came out to be $18.51 I’m not really surprised about the price just because everything has gone up but still just for one person it can still be a little pricey.
