We ate at this lil restaurant quite a few different mornings while staying in Glenwood. Each day was just as good as the other. Service made it a most wonderful experience. Food was good, coffee was strong and dark. Love the home town truck stop feel of the place.

I don’t know where to start. The food was poorly cooked, bland, and at best “acceptable”. The staff was present, but not friendly. It looks as if cleaning is done on obvious surfaces, but no deep cleaning had been done in ages. The coffee is awful. It’s seriously not worth drinking unless you’re in desperate need of warmth. Even then, get a cup of hot water instead. In this day and age, it shouldn’t be a high bar to make a passable cup of coffee in a first world country.
No debit and credit cards has me feeling this place lost their bank account, so maybe a new owner will be along in short order…. Or at least, that’s my hope.

Clean, friendly, comfy, good price.
Not luxury, but priced accordingly. Things like an old sign, tube TV, and no art are offset by the very clean room, comfy bed, and helpful and friendly staff. I could care less about all the other stuff. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it.
