Tl;dr: top spot in the Fort, especially if you have a gluten allergy

The Fort Wayne restaurant scene has improved drastically over the past 10 years. We now have a lot of great options downtown but, if I have to choose one place in the Fort for a special occasion or to take someone visiting, Marquee is the choice.

The menu is filled with interesting and delicious options, moreso than any other place in town I have tried. Some of my other favorite places can be a little hit or miss if I deviate from my happy path, but Marquee has been consistent top to bottom.

In addition, I have to eat a gluten free diet due to celiac, and they are great about that. Gluten free items are marked on the menu and they have been very accommodating and willing to modify dishes to make them GF. Servers have been very knowledgeable and helpful. Pro tip: they have a 2nd fryer that’s dedicated GF, you just have to make sure it’s turned on, but then you can have GF fries, including the amazing poutine.

Speaking of the poutine, that’s one of their unique dishes and is especially hard to find GF. It’s amazing and I highly recommend it (especially the chilaquiles version). I bury my face in poutine any chance I have, and I can’t imagine coming here without ordering it.

For the main dishes, I’ve liked everything I’ve tried (pork chop, shrimp n grits, lamb shank, swordfish, beef tenderloin) but the beef tenderloin is the star of the show. It’s worth the price of admission. For some dishes (lamb shank and pork chop come to mind), I do like to order the sauce on the side, only because the meat itself is so good and I don’t want the sauce to drown it out.

Lastly, the creme brulee is the only dessert I’ve tried but it’s amazing. Possibly the best creme brulee I’ve had. I usually have to order it to go but it’s still delicious.

So yeah, I highly recommend Marquee to everyone and especially for those with gluten allergies. We’re very lucky to have a restaurant of this caliber in Fort Wayne.

Our group was mostly vegetarian so there were a few options to choose from. The gnocchi was tasty. The cauliflower wings were very tasty. The tiramisu is lovely. Would love it if there was a non meat burger type option. Server was very kind and personable.
I believe the Server’s name was Tajuan.

Last night was our first time here. Might have been the best steak I’ve ever had. My fiancé loved the Nashville hot chicken sandwich too. Wonderful service. We will absolutely be coming back. Thank you, Shannon! (I think that was our server’s name)

Got to eat here for a business meeting. The setting was gorgeous and very well done. We got seated right away with a group of five. We had a handful of different eating styles and the server was super patient and so helpful for everyones need! The food was delicious! I have the Kimchi Meatloaf and it was so good!

We had a wonderful experience at Marquee at the Landing. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and energetic without being overwhelming. The service was attentive and professional, and you could tell the staff genuinely cared about making sure we had a great evening.

The food was excellent — beautifully presented and full of flavor. Everything came out fresh and perfectly prepared. It’s clear they take pride in both their menu and the overall dining experience.

We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Marquee at the Landing to anyone looking for a great night out in Fort Wayne.

My wife and I visited here for our 10th anniversary and it was our first time coming. Glad to say we will be back! The food was seriously good and the wait staff was very nice and accommodating and patient as my wife and I navigated the menu.

We got two apps the Fried Calamari and the Hand-cut fries. The fries were so flavorful and seasoned very well. Calamari was good as well and it had a nice kick to it.

I got scallops and the risotto and my wife got the nashville hot chicken sandwich. The scallops and risotto were so good that I basically inhaled it. the sauce was creamy and rich and the risotto was cooked perfectly. Scallops were cooked to perfection as well. My wife’s sandwich was juicy, tender, and quite delicious.

We will definitely be back for sure!

We came in for Valentines day dinner and everything was perfect! Our servers name was Izzie (I believe) and she knew the menu like the back of her hand. She answered all of our questions and knew every ingredient in every entree! She also gave me great recommendations on drinks and food.
The food was also perfect, we finished almost everything we got. It was busy but the food came out in under 30 minutes and we got our drinks so fast. I highly recommend the Beef and Noodles, Steak Frites, and their Chocolate strawberry martini (I can’t remember if it was a limited special drink)!

Pretentious food that missed the mark. I had the shrimp & grits and the beef and noodles. I appreciate the creativity and fresh take on American classics, but both dishes fell completely flat on flavor. The dishes look far better than they taste, which I assume is how most things on the menu are. If you want a meal with the appearance of gourmet without the actual delivery of it, this is your place. I, however, will not be back.

10/10 Valentine’s Day experience and our first time at Marquee. This was the best calamari ever! We also had the shrimp and grits, beef and noodles, and took home a piece of carrot cake and strawberry shortcake – everything was amazing. Great service and atmosphere as well. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Lamb Shank!
Not my first time at The Marquis at the Landing and it has been consistently good. The music is usually too loud and some genre that I don’t care to hear. To fit the great food and the ambiance…some harp or piano music would be better. The food is really good though. Tonight I had the lamb shank. It was prepared on top of a cheese curd, corn and sauce. The corn and sauce was a larger portion than I needed but I ate enough to go down smooth with the lamb and I left the rest. Amazing Lamb Shank. The creme brulee at the end took it over the top. Wow! I highly recommend
