This was my first time ever at Amy’s bread and I’m so sad we came towards the end of the day! A lot of the bread and pastries were sold out, but I had no idea since there were so many other shops further closer to the entrance and this particular shop was towards the middle or back.

Nevertheless, the gentleman working there was incredibly helpful and we ended up getting a blueberry coffee cake slice as well as some walnut bread slice that looked more like a hummingbird cake slice and two different breads that were simply delicious!! The gentleman actually said he was from Oakland, Oakland, California, so that was funny to me since I’m from the Bay Area also.

Ambience in the store was very clean and rustic and if they weren’t closing so soon I would’ve stayed to enjoy my pastry, but we had just finished eating at the Japanese taco spot down the street or alleyway? So look for my review on that!

I can’t wait to go back to Amy’s bread and try more of their actual loaves of breads, as well as their pastries!!

Food ok, hot chocolate delicious but service.. Oh, god.. Terrible! Treated with zero patience and my order wasn’t right… For locals maybe it’s fine, but as a foreign tourist felt treated with no respect.

Good coffee and a nice spot if you’re in the area. Good variety and everything was delicious. The only downside was that the tables you can sit at were filthy, they really should take care of that. Prices are high, but that’s understandable since it’s in a pretty touristy market. I still recommend it.

THE BEST carrot cake in the city!! They’re also one of the few bakeries that has true sourdough bread. They have a great selection of fresh baked breads. Try their dinner rolls, too! I absolutely love it!

Vibrant bakery inside Chelsea market. I guess they have other locations too. It was quite crowded when we visited, which makes sense because it was the holiday season. They have exquisite collection of different breads and baked goodies. We tasted a slice of holiday cake/ fruit cake. It was just perfect with everything right at place. We bought a pack of biscotti and that was incredible too. I wish I could eat more stuff, however, I will go back surely.

Located inside of Chelsea Market. I got the pecan sticky bun and a latte. Honestly the bun was really good, but odd that it couldn’t be warmed up…the staff was not very friendly tbh. The coffee was good

I’ve had many a disappointing carrot cake slice in my life but this was far from it. Best I’ve had in the city so far. Perfect taste and texture, cream cheese frosting was great, not too sweet. And the space is beautiful! If you’re looking for quality you’ll find it here

Pastry is incredibly good! We tried the sticky bun and pistachio croissant twist. Coffee was burnt.
Definitely coming back for more sweet treats here!

Amy’s Bread offers one of the best-tasting coffees in Chelsea Market, but not all bakery items are available there, limiting my choices.

I have been disappointed a few times with Amy’s sweet products. Most recently when I bought her Banana Cake with “fluffy cream cheese frosting.” The frosting added no taste to the mild flavored decent cake. As a result of the described cake, I would not buy it again.
