We stopped into the Brown County Winery tasting room on Main Street and absolutely loved it. Every wine we tried was incredible and they have such a great variety. Sweet, dry, red, white, you name it — and the prices are really reasonable too.
The best part of the whole experience was the staff, especially Darlene. She’s amazing. So kind, friendly, and super knowledgeable about every single wine. You can tell she really loves what she does. My favorite moment was when she told us the bourbon barrel-aged wine was going to “give us a hug.” She was spot on.
We had such a great time and can’t wait to come back. Huge thank you to Darlene and the team for making our visit so much fun.

Disclaimer: I’m a lightweight drinker. Meaning I consume alcohol maybe 3-4 time a year. I know. Don’t judge me;-)
I like sweet wines and BCW is the places to buy them. I tasted three: strawberry, blackberry, and sangria. I bought the blackberry and sangria. Both are sweet—fruity, smooth, and delicious but don’t let the fruitiness fool you my head was buzzing when I left.

Unpretentious wine shop that has great wines. We stayed in the semi sweet to fruit based wines for our FREE tasting. Our guide helped us out in deciding which wines we would like the best and we never felt like we didn’t know what we were doing when tasting. We left purchasing some bottles. If you are in the area and are thinking about some good fun local wine check them out

Good free tastings. Friendly welcoming staff. Normal winery vibe. A good time can be had in this little downtown shop!

I have my preference on how I like my wines. Some of the sweets were just not sweet enough. Some had weird finishes that I cannot explain. But you can sample everything they have if you want to and there is no cost. They also sell a lot of wine so again it’s all based on preference. I have yet to find a winery in town that matches the one I love, but I still like sampling others.
I really don’t care for pushy staff members, telling you what to try, that was a massive turn off.

One of our must visit places when we’re in Nashville! Free tastings and generous pours so you can make a good decision on what you like. Everyone we’ve met over the years has been friendly and knowledgeable. We usually buy a case of the wine that has the Christmas label (flavor escapes me) for a cute party gift and spiced wine with the mulling spices that they sell. They also have my favorite port. Not too thick or syrup like others I’ve tried. I bought the cute chocolate cups and poured in the port and the flavors were outstanding together! They’ve also got cute wine-themed gifts. We’ve also visited the winery on the way out of town for a little easier transport since you could just take it to your car versus hauling to your room. That being said, you can drive up and park and pick up. It was just easier the times we’ve visited.

LOVED the wine selection! We took half a dozen different wines home. The blackberry is wonderful, and the Chateau Gnawbone is a real treat. It is best enjoyed with a plan…23% alcohol, but really a gem! The spiced wine was great with Thanksgiving dinner. Will be ordering more online.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I tried warm wine for the first time. They had 2 different kinds that you heat and serve warm. So yummy! I bought a bottle of each!
