Little slice of old world cooking. Great good, large serving of rice to, samosa were huge, mango lassi and salt lassi were great. A little pricey, and tio is added to each dine in meal. Which we were not made aware of prior to eating. When we asked about it, we were told cause they can’t make enough money to hire any other staff. But all in all, I still would recommend.

As a start, I could’ve given 6 Starts if it was available.
Great experience all around. Service was awesome, above and beyond from Vicky who asked me a question no one has asked before when she asked if I have any food allergies. Especially when I requested mild spice food.
From my appetizer to the main course, all were delicious and fresh. I ate the whole thing to the last bite.
Portion was more than sufficient and packed with exploding flavors that can’t be disappointing to anyone.
I see a repeat visit to explore more wholesome foods as long as I’m still around the area.

I came in at 8:30 and they took me and gladly with no questions. The waitress was so unbelievably charming and nice.
I’ve only ever had Indian food a few other times before and I did not know what i was ordering. She helped me choose something that I thought that I would like. They were also very aware about gluten-free allergies and made sure that every food was safe for me.
The mango lassi was amazing. Personally, I do not think I like Indian food. But i did find the food good. Its just not for me. This is the best Indian food experience ive had. If I liked the food, id come back. Everyone was nice and accommodating. Good experience overall.

Best lamb chops I’ve ever had and yes, better than any I’ve eaten around the Mediterranean! Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and worth the 30 minute wait. They tell you upfront about the wait. Great service, reasonable prices. Mauj will be a regular stop for me anytime I’m in Little Rock!

The exterior is gray and there is no large sign, so it is difficult to find the place. The restaurant is larger than expected, with many box seats on both sides.
The menu is small. Prices are fair. I ordered chicken curry, tandoori chicken, and cheese naan, all of which were very good. All the food is authentic. The server was a friendly lady.

Wow, Great flavors! Super friendly service. Best Naan ever…..it is thicker and more bread-like than usual and came out piping hot. Mango Lassi was very good. Even the iced tea had a unique and fresh flavor. They said that they also have a great Sunday buffet if that is your thing. TRY THIS RESTAURANT.

I’ve visited Mauj twice the past two evenings and was glad I did. The first dish I order in any Indian restaurant will always be Goat Biryani, and Mauj’s is fantastic — very tender, perfectly spiced, and a portion large enough to take home for a second meal. The next night I had the Lamb Vindaloo, and it was also excellent and really hit the spot. With both meals, I enjoyed a nice order of Chili Naan which was outstanding and had just the right “bite”. Yes, I like everything spicy.
Beyond the wonderful meals, there are also two unique reasons to visit Mauj if you haven’t already. 1) The chairs are super comfy, and 2) Victoria is a fantastic and very welcoming host who will remember your name when you return. I believe they will do very well. 🙂

Staff are super friendly. The food was amazing. We have never seen Puchkas before (pictured below) they were incredible. I would also say they have the best butter chicken in town. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
