Free samples! Sign stating this got me in the door. I arrived around 1 PM and it looked like a fair amount of inventory got gobbled up in the morning by customers. They offer coffee for $3.00 a cup. Comfy living room type seating area. Plenty of parking. One item they declined to sell me, apparently it wasn’t fresh enough, glad they did that. African-American owned. Located in a large shopping strip.

The scones and the cinnamon walnut , the chocolate twists were so fresh and soft. The muffins were simply melt in mouth. I liked the zucchini chocolate muffins and the banana chocolate muffins the most.

I just left this place and i can tell you the woman who helped me was so very nice and patient that i must go back. There are a number og things i have to try from cakes to pastries to the empanadas. I am eating the blueberry pastry pictured and it is very good!

Bought some foccacia and sourdough at the Del Ray Farmers Market. The foccacia was, without question, the worst bread I have every purchased. The sourdough was below average, but absolutely delicious in comparison. Seriously, no matter what, DO NOT buy the foccacia. Next time, I’ll Google before my impulse buy at the market.

I have stopped by several times and have tried so many delicious items from the banana nut bread, apple spice walnut bread (so fresh and divine), focaccia, German chocolate muffin (need I say more…the perfect muffin to make the world and your heart smile again), strawberry/banana muffin, chocolate chip cookies (so chewy and yummy!) and the spinach pastry. Even my father who is diabetic tried one of the muffins and loved it. Please come out and support such a lovely family-run business that operates both with integrity and with love. Every item is baked with intention and goodness and it shows in the quality of ingredients and the joy of Tayyaba who is a ray of light for all customers. She’s provided me with excellent recommendations which have always hit the spot. Thank you Grace’s Pastries for bringing a little sunshine and grace into life with your freshly baked treats!

We got some pastries from the Alx farmers market. The raspberry scone was good and not dry. The ginger cake however was the star. It was so yummy and my family devoured it

I purchased some Cinnamon Raisin Bread at the Farmer’s Market at Sherwood Library. The bread was dense, flavorless, and bland. It couldn’t be eaten. I wasted my money. Are you periodically tasting your products to be sure they are good. Very disappointing!!!

Your sourdough does not have the texture or taste of sourdough 🙂
It is a very good bread, but is being mislabeled.

Went to Fairfax farmers market today and bought a $10 loaf of “sourdough” bread. It’s not sourdough, and it was soggy because it was raining and they didn’t properly seal it. Worst of all it was the blandest bread I’ve ever eaten in my life. Don’t call it sourdough if it’s not.

I come to their stand at the Farmer’s Market at the Sherwood Library in Alexandria. They are so friendly and kind. I go every week to get one of their delicious pastries! The apple strudel and turnovers are my favorite. They also have amazing bread and coffee cakes.
