When I tell you I haven’t eaten Mexican food like this since I was a child, growing up around a large Mexican immigrant population in the southern US, I’m not even telling you the half of it. Every. Single. Thing. From the salsas to the molé is made from scratch. Everything is made with love—you taste it in every bite. We couldn’t stop making joyful eating sounds. The space is clean and comfortable. The owners are kind, and make you feel like your grandparents are taking care of and feeding you. I will happily drive over an hour to get here, regularly. The Al pastor is moist and flavorful, every protein melts in your mouth. Abuela even made a tortilla for our single fish taco when we ordered it. I feel profoundly blessed to have eaten here. Le agradezco de todo corazón!!

I’m always worried about trying a new place but loved my visit to Doña Lulu’s.
Food was great. Got an assortment of tacos and a burrito, and found everything to be delicious. The salsas were also really good.
Service was amazing. We got our food super quick and everyone working there was extremely friendly.

I just ate some fish tacos from there and I was REALLY impressed. Fresh ingredients like cilantro, chopped lettuce and tomato, delicious, generous slabs of fish and really reasonable prices, and authentic tasting. I was worried it would be greasy but it wasn’t, it was fresh. I will go back when I’m in the area.
