Ive been going around the south side of Chicago 5 miles from my house and getting pizza from every pizza place. Ive been doing it for about 6 months. I order a large sausage pizza and I order a large stuffed green pepper onion mushroom pizza. Of all of the pizza places ive gone to so far, Milano’s is A+ tier. It matches only 1 other pizza place and its very high raise indeed! Definitely go there.

Messed up my order then refused to correct this… worse customer service. I will never order from this shitty place. There needs to be someone taking orders who know what they are doing. My children were excited for pizza and this was a treat we couldn’t even enjoy. To send a supreme pizza when I wanted was a cheese one is crazy and act like it my fault. I will never order from them again.

I received terrible service at Milano’s Pizza. They got my order wrong. I paid $36 for a pizza and they delivered a pizza with the wrong ingredients. When I called to tell them they delivered the wrong pizza, they said they could take $5 off my next order which was unacceptable. I wanted the pizza I paid for. I spoke with one of the managers over the next 2 days and the owner just didn’t want to make it right. They lost a 35 year loyal customer over a mistake they made. They admitted that the kitchen got the order wrong. For the cost of one pizza they lost a loyal, 35 year customer. I will tell all of my friends and family to order from places like Rosangelas, Lou Malnatis, Giordanos, etc. The good news is we have tons of options with better customer service.

8/7/22 Update: Today Google told me that I’ve been here 69 times and I laughed because that number is WAY OFF! I have been coming to this establishment since I was a kid- what was coveted at pizza night for me as a child has now become a tradition in my own home! I had to share how good they are, I think I’ve been keeping it to myself because I want to protect my favorite place!
Their pizza is delicious and is the BEST pizza on the Southside hands down, in my opinion. My sister who has relocated out of state commented to me there is no pizza she’s met YET that beats Milano’s! Their menu choices extend well beyond pizza to sides, dinner plates, pasta, sandwiches and more; just recently I asked them for a custom pasta request and it was so good (baked ravioli Alfredo- yum)!
They are a long standing family establishment in the local community with a great reputation. Still keep the charm of a small local family pizzeria but manage to keep up with the demand. And they know their longstanding customers and take pride in their relationships. When I call I instantly know who I’m talking to and we usually start chatting it up!
A very popular place on Friday nights, but Saturdays seem to be a bit calmer. Ok now I’ve told y’all about the (not so)secret gem on Western; go check them out!

I wouldn’t say the food was bad but it was different. Not quite to my tastes. I don’t think I will go back but if the food was being served at a party or business meeting, I’ll eat it. The sauce was salty. The crust was different. It was sorta chalky. Reminds me of almond flour crusts that people on Keto eat. Finally the price seems off. We paid $22 for a medium thin with 2 toppings.

I just had Milanos for the 1st time a few months ago (despite having lived next door to it for a year) and was so impressed! I ordered tonight & tried their margherita pizza since that is my favorite. It was a joke & totally NOT margherita pizza or anywhere close to what their menu describes. Even my total sausage & cheese south sider boyfriend commented on it when he saw it & knew that’s not what a margherita pizza is supposed to look like. For spending $30 and waiting 2 hours, I was pretty disappointed. I’ll still give them my business for normal pizza, but not without considering other places 1st & definitely not without a bit of hesitation. Here are some pics… WHERE’S THE BASIL??! lol
