Local resident and this place has declined rapidly over the past few years.
Food preparation issues on consistency, being that this is a chain I am sure they have set volumes for everything that don’t seem to be adhered to. I would not recommend ordering anything in Gallon form for beverages as they have been out of caps for the bags for probably a year now or conveniently everytime I manage to visit. Today they are out of the actual bags.
It is the manager/owners responsibility to ensure their employees are well supplied and supported to accomplish the objective. Food tasted as expected overall.
Atmosphere/Facility is interesting as they removed most of the tables as pointed out by other reviews. Cleanliness was decent.
Staff member’s being loud about not wanting any drama and wanting to fight someone in the same sentence…save that nonsense for when you are on break or at home tighten up on the proffesionalism, all the uniforms looked clean.
It’s an experience I will give you that…

One day they may get an order correct. Missed a side, no gravy on mashed potatoes, wrong sauce, didn’t give drink cups for combos till asked. Most were generally polite.

Horrible service. Upcharge and refuse to give receipts. Its a full agreement when you ask for a refund, remake or ourdee corection. Everyone always has a Horrible attitude. More teens/young adults work here and adults with child like mentally. This location i will never come back to.

Update on 06/01/23 Side order of red beans and rice. Barely a spoonful is given. Really Popeyes? This is Robbery.
This is the worst one in Acadiana. Always gets orders wrong. Expensive meal at times it is not fresh. I dont mind paying but please give me what I ordered and give it fresh if I am gonna pay that much.

Two stars because the chicken and biscuits were delicious. The rest of our order was awful. Our two sides were red beans and rice and Cajun rice. Awful. There was a very very small amount of red beans covered by a lot dry rice. The Cajun rice was also very dry and basically tasteless.
The staff was more focused on each other than the customers.

I asked for certain thing completely ignored me. After reading some of the other post, seems I’m not the only person having problems. Doesn’t look like management cares very much. Also the side orders are barely a spoon full. Won’t be seeing my business there anymore.
