I finally visited Fauchon Paris in Bryant Park, and I have to say, it’s absolutely beautiful. From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve been transported to Paris the décor is elegant, chic, and full of charm, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s clear a lot of thought went into making this space feel authentic and luxurious, and it really succeeds.

The staff, for the most part, were incredibly polite, professional, and welcoming. The only exception was the lady at the front desk, who was unfortunately quite rude when we asked for our reserved table. She insisted it was already taken and gave attitude, which was frustrating. Thankfully, we spoke to the manager, who confirmed that the table was indeed reserved for us, and we were able to sit there. After that, the rest of the experience went smoothly, and the rest of the team was wonderful.

Now, onto the food wow! We tried three desserts: the Bisou Bisou, the Tarte Tatin, and the Big Apple. Each one was absolutely delicious, light, and perfectly balanced. I loved that they weren’t overly sweet; every bite was delicate and full of flavor, just like authentic Parisian pastries should be. The cappuccinos were perfect too creamy, smooth, and expertly made. It was the kind of coffee that makes you slow down and savor the moment.

Overall, despite the front desk hiccup, my experience at Fauchon Paris was wonderful. The combination of a stunning space, friendly staff, exquisite pastries, and perfect coffee makes this a must-visit spot in New York. I’m already looking forward to returning and trying even more of their incredible offerings!

Normally one would go to Fauchon for the pastries, macarons, delicious baguettes or a truly instagrammable afternoon tea… but we came for the Valentine’s Day Pre-Fixe Dinner. On Valentine’s Day, they stayed open until 9pm (normally they close at 4pm). The pre-fix menu was delicious. We had truffle risotto, Halibut and a bisou bisou dacquoise for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing, super friendly and attentive. The restaurant manager was super kind and accommodating. We wanted to purchase some teas from the café section way after it had closed. They found a way to put it on our restaurant bill and help us. The location is beautiful and perfect for an afternoon tea… I can’t wait to try the tea service there. We took home some earl grey and apple loose teas and some confitures. All in all amazing experience from the delicious food to the excellent service. We’ll be back!

I love French style.
The effortless elegance, the simplicity that feels thoughtful, the beauty in details — and that alone was reason enough for me to come here.

The presentation is beautiful. Truly beautiful.
Everything looks refined, clean, and inviting — the kind of place where food already tastes good before you take the first bite.

And the taste?
Absolutely delicious.

The omelet deserves a special mention — light, delicate, melting in your mouth. One of those perfect, comforting dishes that feels both indulgent and nourishing at the same time. The yogurt was wonderful as well — fresh, balanced, and genuinely enjoyable.

This is a place I would absolutely recommend, including with a child. The food feels wholesome, thoughtfully prepared, and simply good for you.

I came here because I love everything French.
I’m giving five stars because you are French — in spirit, in taste, and in style.

Merci

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our visit to Fauchon NYC. It feels like a little Parisian escape right in Midtown, with a bright, elegant space and a relaxed café vibe.

We ordered the avocado toast, deviled eggs, and the croque monsieur, and everything was excellent. The avocado toast was fresh and well balanced, the deviled eggs were creamy and flavorful, and the croque monsieur was the standout — rich, perfectly toasted, and classic without feeling heavy.

Service was friendly and attentive, and the pacing made it easy to enjoy a leisurely brunch. We thought pricing was reasonable for NYC but could understand for some might be in the higher range but the quality and experience make it worth it…trust me! We will definitely come back for brunch or a casual lunch near Bryant Park.

Fauchon has reopened in the Big Apple. Located centrally in Bryant Park, this impressive restaurant is elegant with the brand’s signature pink, black and white colors. The chairs are also pink and vases filled with an abundance of silk pink orchids make it especially attractive. I had lunch here on Tuesday. I chose Catsmo Smoked Salmon which was served with a frisée salad. The menu description mentioned that the salmon would be on blini but the salmon was served on a whole wheat bread round. Did the kitchen not make the blini batter or was it overlooked? Dessert was Fauchon’s Signature Bisou Bisou (kiss) which was beautifully plated. While the soft dacquoise was creamy, the almond crunch was hard and needed strength to cut it. Esplette which is also an expensive spice elevated the flavor while still keeping it fairly sweet. A $7 cappuccino was uber expensive. I am not shy to mention prices and I told Witness, the server, about it. Angela was the charming hostess who I met when I entered Fauchon. Jesus was the second server who gave me the correct dessert menu, as the drinks and dessert menu are the same size and in black, it is easy to mistake one for the other. One should open it before handing it to a guest. The two managers, Diane and Anthony came over to ask how I was enjoying lunch. While I enjoyed lunch, I was dismayed that the menu featured many American dishes. The manager explained that all the Fauchon branches around the world feature local entrées so that residents feel comfortable. The restaurant was filled with diners. Two pretty restrooms with pink colors are in the back which gives one the chance to walk and see the private room and the kitchen. No seat covers or paper towels are here. Everyone who worked here was friendly. The hours are 8 am till 4 pm.

Fauchon Paris New York is my new favorite cafe in Midtown, near Bryant Park. I loved it so much, we went 2 weeks in a row before going ice skating in Bryant Park. However, there is a bit of room for improvement, especially with the service…

1. Atmosphere
It has such a chic atmosphere and is conveniently located right across from Bryant Park, with large windows. Once word gets out, I’m sure it will get packed very quickly.
I love the pretty decor, including the open kitchen and Fauchon pink chairs and decorations.
They also have a shop with dessert, pastries, drinks and other goodies to go.

Our first visit, we were seated by the large windows, which was nice.
Yesterday, we were seated at one of the middle seats uncomfortably close to the next table (it had originally been set up as a table for 4, split into 2 tables for 2) and a lot of foot traffic on the other side. Considering we had a reservation, I’d expected better seating.

2. Beverages
Both times, we ordered different drinks.
– The first time, I tried the Pink Chai Latte, which was cute with the Fauchon “F,” but wasn’t my favorite blend of flavors. It did come with a piece of chocolate, which was a nice touch. I was also considering ordering a dessert, but our server never came back after they’d told us they’d be back right away to take our dessert order.
– The second time, I had the best hot chocolate I’ve had possibly in my whole entire life. The Haute Chocolate ($13.50+) is a bit pricey, but so worth it for the hot chocolate “experience,” especially for hot chocolate lovers. The hot chocolate is served in a silver pot, along with whipped cream and pink marshmallow bisou in silver dessert coupes. The chocolate was the perfect level of richness and sweetness. The cream was smooth, too. The marshmallow, I would’ve preferred without the sugar coating, considering there’s plenty of sweetness from everything else.
– My boyfriend ordered the Chai Latte, which came with a piece of chocolate the first time, but didn’t the second time. So we asked, and they gave us one. It also wasn’t hot, probably because it had just been sitting waiting to be served, while the hot chocolate was being prepared. (Our drinks took 20 minutes to be served.)

3. Service
They visibly have many staff and servers, who were pleasant and friendly. However, the service was very slow both times. Possibly because it recently opened, there’s a bit of noticeable disorganization and inefficiencies. Hopefully, it’ll improve, but you’re in a rush, I’d recommend ordering to go or going elsewhere.

I came here with a big group of friends this past Saturday. The ambiance is amazing, it feels like a shop in Paris. We went to dine in and they got a table ready for us within 10 minutes even though we walked in with a big party. The host was kind and the servers were attentive. We didn’t get much to eat but we had the French hot chocolate and it was amazing. Who I think was a manager or owner came out and thanked us for coming. From start to finish, all staff, bussers to managers were pleasant. It was the best part of my visit that day. I will be back, absolute hidden gem (that I kind of hope stays hidden )

Had a lovely brunch at Fauchon Paris NYC during their opening week. The food was amazing, especially the pastries, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The pastry case at the entrance was impressive, and after our meal we took a box of macarons to go!

Fauchon Paris in NYC!!
A wide, elegant cafe space, attentive service. I tried the French onion soup which came out hot and delicious. And took some cake home, but it lived up to the hype and everything was good.
