I was looking for a South American cuisine place since my favorite one on Franklin avenue had closed. I noticed convos in maps and decided to give it a shot.
I wasn’t disappointed, but I surely was not pleased. This place was far more of a night hopping spot than a restaurant though they did have both food and nightlife.
I got frisked at the door which has never happened in my life.
When I walked in I immediately put earplugs in and did my best to block out the noise.
A waitress finally came through to the back and I ordered a steak with rice and beans.
The steak was a little bit tough but the beans and rice were amazing. By the time I had gotten out of there, I just sat in my car with the windows rolled up to appreciate the silence.
If you like super loud salsa type music this is definitely the place.
I might go back during the day just try another dish.

Let me say, service is top tier from the moment you pull up and have your door opened for you. Not only is the aesthetic beautiful but let’s get to what’s important… the food! Wow ! I got the lamp chops, Brussels and mashed potatoes and it came out hot, flavorful and delicious. The people were a vibe and it was nothing but good energy & good music. I highly recommend a midtown vibe but in the convenience of such a cute and upcoming area in Hapeville.

First time coming here after an epic fail at Babes , and they were 9/10. No major complaints, location great, parking was good. Set up, music, service very good. Tiny wait time for food but music was so good and the food was amazing it made up for it. Will definitely be going again!

Me and BFF went to this bar for the first time. We had awesome time. Bar tender was excellent in service, food were on point. Bar tender Rachel, had such a great attitude. Our experience there was amazing. We have decided to make this our meeting spot. It’s chill, in the corner, low key.
I will say, to find the place was a little difficult the trees are hiding the sign. And the ones on the windows need a color that pops out. Other than that, great place to bring a first date. Clean and great food and drinks.

Went here last night around 11 with my girls to have a drink and some hookah. We stood at the bar for almost 20 minutes; no bartender came over to serve us. They walked around ignoring us and catered to their people. It wasn’t even packed. The taller female bartender literally walked out the bar area too. Apparently they didn’t want our money so we left and went to another bar that was more friendly.

They haven’t been open long so the kitchen is still getting settled. The menu is not very broad or interesting yet. I was amazed there was no mention of vegetables and when the food arrived, there wasn’t not nary a veggie on the plate. Like your old uncle made a plate while he was drinking. We had chicken and pork. Sides were plantains and rice n beans, plus a very hard brick of Mac n cheese. It was super warmed over and shouldn’t have been warmed again to go on our plates. The chicken was great but the Mac was inedible.
Three in our group and we picked a Saturday night when there was a party on the opposite side of the restaurant. So the music was really loud and some of it was not dance type or fun at all.
Overall, it was a good outing but we will wait a bit before returning for dinner to let the kitchen get their legs under them.
As we left, there was a crowd coming in to dance and drink. It looks like a nice place for that.

We tried the Oxtail empanadas, excellent, the testones also very good, the curry goat and another beef dish I can’t quite recall the name of. All the menu items were very good to excellent, and the drinks were fairly priced. My one complaint is that for a restaurant serving Caribbean food, their rum selection was poor at best with only 3 in stock.
