Simply the best Cheese Steak I’ve ever had. From the toasted roll to the evenly applied toppings it was perfect. On top of that their fries are amazing too. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They actually tasted like potatoes! The person who took my order must be the owner based on the service I received. Highly recommended!

Wow. The hype was real. This is an amazing cheesesteak for Nova. I’m sure the cheesesteak snobs will say it’s not a real “Philly” but you are comparing oranges to apples. Before you ask, in Philadelphia, Angelo’s is my #1 cheesesteak spot.
George’s again is amazing for Nova, without having to travel 3+ hours away. It’s packed full of flavor and does not skimp on the filling.
My only regret was taking it home to eat, so it sat in the foil for about 10 mins and still piping hot but got some soggy due to moisture.
I’m certain it’s chef kiss if eating it fresh off the grill at the resturant.
Bottom line, if you are looking for a great cheesesteak at an actual reasonable price in Nova, this is the spot.

Holy cow! Divine steak and cheese! Best outside Philly. Incredibly beautiful spot, amazing quality, insanely great prices. Can’t wait to try the meatball sub and other things next. Get to George’s stat! (Especially good after a walk at Burke Lake!)

I have been craving a meatball sub for 3 straight days, and googled where to get one. A friend recently suggested George’s Steak N Things as a great sandwich place, so I decided to eat here. Best decision ever. Sandwich was incredible. Warm meatballs with housemade marinara, toasty bread, melty cheese, and so filling! I also got a crispy, warm basket of fries with an equally warm smile and welcome from the man who took my order. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you for the amazing meal and service.

Really solid cheesesteaks. I had mine with onions and American. I’ve had Angelo’s, Dalessandro’s, Jim’s. Apparently wiz isn’t a popular topping in NOVA so it isn’t on the menu, but regardless I really enjoyed my sandwich and would rank it up there with Philly greats. Onion rings were fantastic as well.

Absolutely horrendous food and service. I complained about my fries because they were over cooked and the owner decided to get mad and tell me I’m wrong and not make a new batch. From past experience if a customer complains about food at any given restaurant they usually fix the issue then and there. He did not want to refund the money even though I did not even eat the food after complaining. Got aggressive with me to where I had to call the police to try to achieve a resolution. Do not go here and save your money. Absolutely horrible experience with service and food. And portions are extremely tiny for the price they charge.

I visited Georges Steak N Things yesterday for the first time!
The entire staff was very pleasant and the customer service was unmatched. The owner was so pleasantly friendly and welcoming and running that family business like a well oiled machine. I could tell that this place is ran with love because the customers were giving us recommendations and have all been loyal customers for many years.
They have a diverse menu and the prices are very reasonable. They are known for their cheese steaks which have been going viral on TikTok, so I had to try it. The atmosphere was so chill and the Philly cheese steak was so goood! No disappointments. My order was a decent size and there was little to no wait time, and I could see the chef actively cooking my order. Wow. The meat was juicy, well seasoned and all of the vegetables were fresh and the bread had a beautiful little crisp on the outside but soft and delicious inside . The Cajun cheese steaks were just as good and bursting with flavor in every bite. The French fries were fresh, hot, crispy and flavorful.
And to top it off the desserts were so yummy. They have freshly made baklava that is so good. I ate mine with a cup of hot tea while watching a movie, so chill, so good. The rich everything chocolate, chocolate cake was every chocolate lovers dream and my husband couldn’t stop raving about the key lime pie. I can’t believe this was my first time visiting, but it won’t be my last! Wow, 10/10 I highly recommend. They also deliver on grubhub all over the DMV.
