This was a wonderful lunch experience. We were the first people in the building at 1130am sharp. They greeted us and explained how their covid procedures worked. The decor was wonderful and they have a diverse selection of sake. We order our food and were sat at a table. Drinks and miso came out promptly and rolls/bento arrived right after. Everything was delicious. Our bill was less than eating sushi at home in the valley. So happy. Thanks Sapporo!

You MUST go here! The staff here at Sapporo are just super friendly. The food is amazing (and I’m a vegetarian) and priced right. There are many craft sake’s and beer’s to choose from. Parking in the lot behind it is an easy minute walk. Try a fruit infused sake tell them James sent you and give an over-exaggerated wink (you don’t get anything special. Or maybe you might ). They will know I’m out giving them the love local restaurants like Sapporo deserve.

Food was good! Udon noodle texture was perfect! It needs lil more soy sauce so I put lil more and it was great! Service was wonderful too! Actually it was our anniversary meal and they gave us shots of premium traditional sake and nice dessert too!! Amazing

Great service, had the a tempura appetizer, crazy monkey and Sapporo Sam rolls. Love spicy rolls but the crazy monkey was a bit overwhelming with spice, couldn’t really taste the salmon. Tempura was really good and not overly battered.

I went to Sapporo last night. I don’t know why city of Hayward is treating Sapporo restaurant so unfairly, they are a service,but they make them cross the street for dine-in. Really good sushi and large servings! Rolls are priced in the higher end but they are huge rolls. I really enjoy their food but I just wish they were open earlier on more days during the weeks for lunch!
